JOINING INSTRUCTIONS - CENTRES CONFERENCE BRUSSELS, MAY 15th
, 2014
Dear CENTRES Conference Participants,
We are pleased to confirm the arrangements for your attendance at the above event.
ARRIVAL
You should make your way from Brussels International Airport as follows:
1. By train from minus 1 level to Gare Central, fare €2.60 each way and till take about
25–30 minutes, then a short taxi ride.
2. By Airport Express bus N° 12 from level 0 to Place Luxembourg. Approx. €3.00 and
will take about 30 minutes. (5 minute walk to the office and 5 minute walk from Thon
Hotel EU)
NB. During the weekend and after 20.00 the bus only goes to Rond-Point Schuman.
You should make your way from Gare du Midi (Eurostar) as follows:
1. By Metro in direction of Elisabeth (might appear as Simonis Elisabeth, but do not
mistake for Simonis) exiting at Trône/Troon and continuing along Rue du Trone or
Rue Luxembourg for a 10 min. walk. Altogether 20 minutes.
You should make your way from Charleroi Airport as follows:
1. There is an airport bus which runs into Gare du Midi. From there you can either get
the metro in direction of Elisabeth if you are coming directly to the British Council or
any nearby hotel, or take a taxi directly to your destination.

The CENTRES Conference venue:
The CENTRES CONFERENCE will start with a networking lunch at the Twelve Restaurant
(Thon Hotel EU) at 12.30.
The CENTRES CONFERENCE will take place at the Thon Hotel EU, Belgium 3 room.
