3. HOW TO GET TO TARRAGONA FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT
*Be careful if your flight arrives at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Airport train station and
bus station are in Terminal 1. So, if you arrive at terminal 2, you have to take the free
shuttle bus to go to the other terminal.
BY BUS
The bus company is called PLANA and you can find
them in the platforms 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, in the
Terminal 1. There are free shuttle buses from T1 to T2
and in the other way around.

4. BY TRAIN
There are two options:
1) BUS + TRAIN: At the airport, take the bus which brings you to Barcelona Sants
Estació. Go inside the train station and buy the ticket in the ticket offices that are
on the left. Normally there’s a train each 30 minutes, from 5:30h till 21:30h, and
it takes 1 hour to arrive. It costs 7€.
2) TRAIN + TRAIN: At the airport, take the train (leaves each 30 minutes) and
stop at Sants Estació (25 minutes approximately). There you have to go upstairs
and buy the ticket in the ticket offices that are on the left. Normally there’s a
train each 30 minutes, from 5:30h till 21:30h, and it takes 1 hour to arrive. It
costs 7€.
*The aiport train leaves each 30 minutes. In Sant Vicenç de Calders each 30 minutes
too, more or less.

5. HOW TO GET TO TARRAGONA FROM REUS AIRPORT
BY BUS
The bus company is called HISPANOGUALADINA. More or less there’s a bus each
1:15h or less. The timetable is depending on the arrivals. This is the link of its website:

*The first column is the time it leaves from the airport and the second one the time it
arrives to Tarragona. It takes just 15 or 20 minutes.

6. HOW TO GET TO TARRAGONA FROM GIRONA AIRPORT
You have to take the Barcelona Bus (the bus company is called Segales and it costs
15€). After that, you have two options:

TRAIN: take the metro and go to Sants Estació. Go inside the train station and buy the
ticket for Tarragona in the ticket offices that are on the left. Normally there’s a train
each 30 minutes, from 5:30h till 21:30h, and it takes 1 hour to arrive. It costs 7€.
BUS: The bus company is called ALSA and costs 8€ the trip to Tarragona.
Barcelona bus leaves from the bus station which is next to the airport. Platform you
have to go is called Barcelona (there are two) and it leaves 20 or 25 minutes after the
flight arrived.

7. HOW TO GET TO BARCELONA FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT
There are two options:
1) Aerobus: this bus service is each 10 minutes more or less. There are different
stops; the main ones are Plaça Catalunya (in front of Corte Ingles) and Plaça
España. There are two lines; A1 goes to Terminal 1 and A2 goes to Terminal 2.
2) TMB bus: this is the metropolitan bus. It costs 2€ more or less (you can use the
same card than in the metro) but takes a long time to get to your destination.
This service works until 5am to 00:15 in both terminals. BUS NUMBER 46.
*If you arrive at night, you have the night bus. It starts working at 21:50h in
Terminal 1 and finishes at 4:50h. The price is the same.

8. HOW TO MOVE IN BARCELONA
If you will be some days in Barcelona, I’ll recommend you to find or buy a map of the
city and decide where do you want to go. It’s a big city so if you have marked all the
places you would like to visit, you can see the easiest way to go there and the best order
to visit them.
If you like walking, you can visit a lot of places using just a few times metro, if not,
look for the names and lines of metro you need. (For tourism is better metro than bus).
BUS
As you can imagine there are a lot of bus lines. In this web site you can find which line
do you need and how to get to your destination. It’s in catalan, sorry.

METRO
There are a lot of lines too but it is easier to show you the map. To use it (it’s the same
for the bus) you can buy a ticket just for a trip, a ticket for some days or a T10. The
second one is ok if you plan to use a lot the metro. If you don’t, use the T10. It costs
8’25€ and it is for 10 trips. It’s important to know that if you change the metro line
without leaving the exit control, it’s free. If you leave the exit control or change the
transport before 1:15h it is free to. So, for example, if you need to use metro, bus and
tram to get to your destination, it will be just 1 trip if it doesn’t exceed the time.

From Monday to Thursday, Sunday and public holiday: from 5 to 24h
Friday and festive vigil: from 5 to 2h.
Saturday and vigil of 1/1, 24/6, 15/8 and 24/9: continual service.
