Editor's Notes
As a lifetime learner, teachers are keep on evolving and improving through experiences in teaching. Everyday or each day, teacher continuously learning.
Facilitator, we are teacher who always stand stood in front of the students and we should make the students learn really well in the class and make a friendly and safe environment.
As an expert in technology, we need to adapt this modern technology in teaching to make the students more engage in the classroom.
A global citizen, as a teacher we should be open to our community and be kind to them professionally. And also, we need to accept and grasp what the communities’ comments for making us teacher to be more effective in teaching and lastly, a 21st century helps the community through outreach and helping the people that needed care.
A caring and supportive mentor – As a teacher we also, need to encourage our students to study well, always be proud of them and take care of them whenever they feel alone or have problems in life.
A multitasking initiator – In bad days or hard days with a lot of work teacher should always think positively in order to have a good ambience or vibes in everyday class.
Visionary – Visionary have a goal in teaching and a wide prediction to those students that are weak inside the class and envision the things that what must do next.
As a teacher we should not stop at a one point, we should have a lot points because, If we fail on that one point we still have another points to continue and improve.
Critical thinking: Considering multiple perspectives: Teachers must be able to consider multiple perspectives on an issue in order to develop a well-rounded understanding.
Problem-Solving: The 21st century teachers also, solves problem through the use of technology.
Creativity: 21st century teacher has adopted the modern technology in teaching inside the class in making a fun activity and seize learners attention.
Communication: As a teacher, it should also prepared and know the things that he will be talking to the students.
And also, communication has grown bigger and more engaging with our modern technology for examples letting our students watch videos and after that,
Students will make their own speech or discussion.
Collaborations: To collaborate with the students nowadays, we can use the google docs or google platforms. By collaborating with the students, 21st century teachers can create a more engaging and productive learning environment with the use of technology. Students can learn from each other, develop their critical thinking skills, and create high-quality work.
When it all goes wrong in the middle of a class, when the technologies fail, the show must go on.
The 21st Century teacher is an adaptor. Harnessed as we are to an assessment focused education model the 21st Century Educator must be able to adapt the curriculum and the requirements to teach to the curriculum in imaginative ways.They must also be able to adapt software and hardware designed for a business model into tools utilisable by a variety of age groups and abilities.They must also be able to adapt to a dynamic teaching experience.
