Lady and Sir,
I am writing in support of Cecile Girod’s application for an employment as Clinical Research
Specialist in your hospital. Cecile is genuinely a very good professional with great potentials and a
huge knowledge of clinical research management and regulation. That is why; I encourage you to give
her candidature careful consideration.
In fact, I have been Cecile’s immediate supervisor for several years. I found her to be
consistently pleasant and deeply hardworking, tackling all assignments with dedication and positive
mindset. Besides being a joy to work with, Cecile is a driving force for medical and paramedical
staffs. Thanks to her force of proposal and her initiatives she developed clinical research by managing
alone the forty projects led in the department and by creating communication tools and procedures to
facilitate the everyday life of investigative teams. As the only study coordinator of the department she
is responsible for all the steps of clinical trials management and realization. She has undeniable
organizational and time management skills and she is able to work fast and well.
Moreover, with a high degree of flexibility of hours, Cecile is eager to take on new challenges.
In fact, really involved in the life of the department she is in charge of many projects other than those
regarding clinical research. For instance, she is responsible for the creation of a website dedicated to
children and families. She also participates to the multidisciplinary staffs and assists in the drafting of
quality procedures. She conducts literature searches and helps in the redaction of publications. Her
dynamism and involvement in human healthcare are unusual.
It should be apparent that I think very highly of Cecile Girod's professional and interpersonal
skills. I am not alone in this evaluation; she has fit in very well with the entire department’s team.
In closing, I think of her to be a qualified candidate for an employment as Clinical Research
