4. We all know how important DNA is in the human body. It has the entire
genetic information of a person, since what sex are they going to be,
until the sex preferences they’re going to have, their likes or dislikes
and even their entire personality.
DNA is everything on a person, the genomic information that it has,
has to be with everything in the humans body and that’s why it is so
important.
In the DNA we could find different information, and in relation
with medicine is important because it manages the information
of the internal human body so depending on it, humans
develop different kind of characteristics, even diseases related
to some specific information.
But also it lead us to use it as a tool to know about this specific
characteristics and information for us to learn what to do with it
and how treat it.

Mice’s genes are 90% similar to humans ones, so
the European Mouse DiseaseClinic made an
investigation about 320 of their genes to look for
some type of relations or explanations to some
human diseases.

tests to the mice. Over an 80% of the
evaluations made, leaded them to a clue to
what the missing gene’s role might be.

coming, they will be able to find which genes
is related to some things presented in a
person and what way do they work so
depending on that they’ll analyze and create

that DNA-recycling mechanism can be
turn against certain cancer cells
Cell are always trying to thrift when
they are synthesizing new DNA, so
that’s why they to a recycling process
to use what the past DNA synthetized
didn’t use.

Normal cell have a highly selective
mechanism to ensure that nucleosides don’t
carry any unwanted chemical changes, but
the cancerous cells aren’t that selective.
Ludwig researchers found that maybe they
will be able to attack this cells by modifying
the nucleosides for killing them.

implement this as
a strategy to fight
with cancer.

chemically modify.
If this modification is in the wrong place,
the cells can be damaged and can be
killed.

cells prevent that the modified part of the DNA,
ends up in the wrong place, so they will try to get
into the process, change it and using it against
cancer cells as an anti-cancer agent!!!!!!!

I found this investigation really important and
amazing for the cancer treatment because
basically it will help humans with this disease
to get done with it by killing the cancerous
cells, and help them to don’t have anymore
damage.
15. Both news are medically important because
they are trying to find some ways to prevent
some human illness, by investigating how the
cells and the components of them work, so
this will lead them to create some processes
or treatments to help the affections that they
have
16. Cancers figure among the leading causes
of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and
other diseases are cause of deaths too, so
if the results of these investigations work
out it would be a BIG step for medicine
and it would be easier to treat and save
people’s life.
17. From this, more investigations will begin
and more things will be invented, so
humans health will have the possibility to
get better, more and more, everyday.
18. This studies don’t have a highly selection
because they work o DNA’s, so this could
be apply to every single person who needs
it and has the possibility to afford it.
