2. CORRECT YOUR H/W QUESTIONS
3. NEW 20 QUESTIONS
Tips for Multiple Choice:
(55 Multiple Choice= 55 Minutes)
• If you can’t answer it the first time in 30 seconds, try and
eliminate any of the answer you know are NOT correct and
move on (you might waste time on answers when there are
easier ones later)
• After you’ve answer all the ones you can the first time (within 30
seconds), go back to the ones you could eliminate a few and
answer those next
• Last, make your best guess for those where you couldn’t even
eliminate one of the answers
You usually can eliminate 1-2 wrong answers by them either: not being in
that correct time period, not in the region asked about, or doesn’t answer the question
asked (ie: the question asked about economics, but one of the answers talks about
religion)
Be careful when changing your answers later. Research shows that often
4. CORRECT YOUR NEW 20 QUESTIONS
DBQ PRACTICE

Option #1: Flash Card

Option #2: Study Book
(Content + multiple choice
review)
Option #3: Practice
Exams (Multiple Choice +
Short Answers)
Using flash cards, each student will
take a pile (try and do a unit you feel
weak in)
Going back and forth, take turns
where each student tells as much
as they can about a term (region,
time period, definition, any
characteristics)
After they’ve said all they can, read
through the card together
Switch and have the other student
go
Start in your study book and go to
the section from 600 CE-1450
Take turns reading through the
section together. If there is a part
that is confusing, talk it out together
Complete the practice exams after
the unit and see how you did.
Review topics you didn’t get correct
Do the same thing with another
section of the study book
Your study book has 3 full practice
exams. Choose 1 to practice (1 in
the front of the book and 2 in the
back)
Using a scratch piece of paper,
record your answers and time
yourself.
Correct yourself and highlight or
circle the topics you missed
Go back to those sections in the
study book and re-read that section
You will need to turn in proof of your studying. Proof includes: (Baker will be coming around
checking on you, point may be lost if you are off task, phones are out, or you are distracted in any
other way)
• Option #1: You and your partner have recorded with terms you’ve missed,
with a definition of them
• Option #2: Record your score on the practice questions at the end of each section. Explain the correct
answer when missed (like a test correction)
• Option #3: Use a piece of paper to record your answers. When missed, explain the correct answer

  • 3. 3. NEW 20 QUESTIONS Tips for Multiple Choice: (55 Multiple Choice= 55 Minutes) • If you can’t answer it the first time in 30 seconds, try and eliminate any of the answer you know are NOT correct and move on (you might waste time on answers when there are easier ones later) • After you’ve answer all the ones you can the first time (within 30 seconds), go back to the ones you could eliminate a few and answer those next • Last, make your best guess for those where you couldn’t even eliminate one of the answers You usually can eliminate 1-2 wrong answers by them either: not being in that correct time period, not in the region asked about, or doesn’t answer the question asked (ie: the question asked about economics, but one of the answers talks about religion) Be careful when changing your answers later. Research shows that often
