2. POPULATION
This blog will be designed for elementary school children at a public school, with
a very low level of English. The students are between 9 and 11 years old in fifth
grade and their relationship with English is just two blocks per week. Their
socio- economical level according to Colombian stratification is 3.
3. The institution is called “Colegio
San Jose”, it is a public school in
Itagui.

Constructivist research is the
system where the educational
process seeks the integral
formation of the students ,
through the range of
achievements , skills and
competencies.
5. I would like to create a blog where the students can find
interesting articles and stories, vocabulary lists, games,
and fun ways to learn English in order to improve their
level.

competences I would like students to achieve:
LISTENING
• Reconozco algunos estados de ánimo a través del tono o volumen de voz en una historia
leída por el profesor o en una grabación.
READING
• Asocio un dibujo con su descripción escrita.
• Comprendo descripciones cortas sobre personas, lugares y acciones conocidas.
WRITING
• Escribo sobre temas de mi interés.
• Escribo descripciones y narraciones cortas basadas en una secuencia de ilustraciones.
SPEAKING
• Expreso en una palabra o frase corta, cómo me siento.
