This document provides instructions for a hero presentation assignment. Students are asked to create a 3 to 5 minute PowerPoint presentation introducing themselves as a hero. The presentation must include information about 5 areas of interest such as their home city, how they became a hero, their superpowers, sidekicks, secret identity, enemies, goals, weaknesses, and costume. Students will be graded on their oral presentation, written speech, slideshow, and audience engagement.

I am a Hero Presentation Assignment
You are constantly introduced to heroes in the world, media and in your own
personal experiences with friends. Time for you to introduce a hero of your own,
yourself! Regardless of what you may think, you are a hero; or at the very least, you
have fantasized about it once or twice in your day dreams.
What I want you to do is create a slideshow presentation (PPT-Powerpoint)
that informs the class about yourself, AS A HERO! You must choose FIVE different
areas of interest regarding your hero identity. This will give the class a chance to
really understand what hero you are or would like to be. Each slide should have a
picture and short sentence on it. It will be required of you to elaborate and provide
sufficient information orally in addition to what you have written.

• City or place you call home/defend
• How you became a superhero
• Your superpowers/abilities
• Your team or sidekick
• Your secret identity
• Your foes
• Your goals or purpose as a hero
• Your weakness
• Your costume
*Your presentation must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.
