CLUECLASSROOM
A classroom of tragedy.
Please submit all cellphones into the teacher now.
NOTE TO THE TEACHER
• THIS IS A TEACHER RESOURCE!
• Putting this in the hands of your students actively ruins the game as
students will want to know the answers or may not have the full set
of instructions to accurately follow along with the three game streams
• There is another resource with the remaining pieces, parts of this you
may use with the class. (.DOC)
• If giving this to a student to host in their own group, please be sure to
guide them prior to the lesson
Groups
• Each group should have between 5-8 players
• Characters are selected by the teacher specifically as some characters
are not vital to the solution of the story plot
• Groups are trying to answer the following three questions
• 1. Who killed the victim?
• 2. Where was the victim killed?
• 3. What was the weapon used?
Rules
• You need to speak, one person at a time, and give your full attention
and respect to the police authorities…if they arrive.
• DO NOT SPOIL THE GAME FOR OTHER PLAYERS! This is created to be a
fun activity for the class, even if you don’t want to participate, at least
politely observe without disrupting the gameplay (your teacher will
most likely have you reassigned before this anyways)
• “Police Documents” can be given to the police but MUST AT LEAST BE
SHOWN to the Police; other than that, if your page is NOT A POLICE
DOCUMENT, YOU DO NOT NEED SHOW OR GIVE IT TO THEM
ROLES (and TOP SECRETs)
• You have two pages, one is your “ROLE”, which anyone can see.
• The other is the “TOP SECRETS”, which are things ONLY you can see.
• If people see your “TOP SECRETS”, you could essentially lose the
game, or worse-make it boring for yourself until the game is over.
Character 4 “Santa”
• Coming close to retirement, people
around the world say that he
forgets to visit them sometimes
even though he clearly writes back
to them saying he will.
• Board Member of “The Hall of
Folklore Beings”
• People are not supposed to know
he is ACTUALLY Santa Clause
• Strikingly similar resemblance to
“Clint Eastwood” actually.
The Police Search Reveals (4)
• Loaded .44 Magnum handgun.
The Police Search Reveals (4)
• “I was here celebrating my mentee
this evening. Madill, he was a good
boy. Untimely end to such a tender
soul. No, I couldn’t be mad. know I
won’t be “Santa” forever but, at
least I know its next going to be a
good man. Ugh mortals, they are
just not cut out for this sort of job.
Us Saints, we had to die before we
could apply for a seat in the “Hall
of Folklore”, you know?” (Release a
wheezy cough and then sniffle in a
rugged tone)
• As for the clue,
• “Listen, I can’t remember when I
actually put that in my pocket but, I
do know that I travel to some of
the most dangerous places in the
world. Not to mention the
countless individuals out there who
are trying to capture-Blasted Jack
Skellington and his “Ogie Boogey
Trick-o-Treaters” (Santa Grumbles
and mumbles off to himself as he
walks away)
