-Multi Purpose Canine (MPC) handler for 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion trained and
maintained a Belgium Malinois (MPC) to properly bite, track and effectively seek out explosives
from organic and non-organic areas.
-Directly communicated with team leaders from multiple Marine Special Operation Command
teams to ensure training was being met and as a dog team we were meeting their expectations.
-Ensure assigned working dog maintains proficiency in bite work, detection, and tracking
- Maintain working dog's kennel and assist all other working dog handlers in the care and
feeding of their assigned animals.

Deployment
(Sep 2012-May2013) Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan
-Deployed with Marine Special Operations Command, Special Operations Task Force 81, U.S
Army Special Operations, Operation Detachment Alpha (ODA) Team 8011.
-Successfully maintained and accounted for over 300,000 thousand dollars in weapon systems
which included (3) MK19’s, (3) M2 .50 Cal’s, (3) 240B’s, (2) SAW’s, (15) M4’s, (3) .45 Cal
pistols, and (12) 9mm Berretta pistols, while acting as the junior 18 Bravo Weapons Sergeant for
ODA 8011.
-Conducted personal static security operations while meeting with local village leaders for team
leader and other high ranking officers and officials whom would visit the region of operations.
-Convoy security for ODA Team 8011 while conducting convoy operations as the lead vehicle.
-Arranged security for local village leaders and their advisors to ensure safety from potential
harm while on convoys and static meetings.
-Ensured all incoming personnel were properly logged in and searched before entering
compound.
-Basic reconnaissance and system for fingerprint and facial recognition for potential area targets.
-Direct Marine Corps liaison between U.S Army Special Operations Command and support
element Special Operations Task Force for logistical needs.
-Responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 5 million dollars in rolling stock which
included (4) MATV’s, (4) NTV’s , and (2) LATV in support of ODA 8011 which was a direct
result in 100% mission capability, critical to operations due to being outside NATO CASEVAC
60 minute range.
-Created Proper Vehicle Check Point Inspection, Proper Weapons Handling, Fundamentals of
Marksmanship classes to instruct the local Afghanistan Border patrol so they could be proficient
in day to day task.
