 I am the coordinator for multiple research studies, PainCOACH, KASTpain, Pain Cope,
VROA, etc. the studies are multisite, exploring Pain Coping Skills through socio/behavioral
interventions. At Duke the head PI whose direction I work under is Dr. Francis Keefe. My
responsibilities include:
 The preparation and submission of IRB documents including initial protocol submissions
and continuing reviews and amendments
 Ensuring regulations are being upheld (including regulatory binders and ensuring trainings
are up to date for all those listed on the protocols I coordinate)
