• Ask about breaks, vacation policies, etc.
• Find out if any policy and procedure manuals exist
and read them
• Find out who the company’s safety officer is

• Make sure you know who you report directly to and
who their supervisor is
• Make sure you have a clear job description so you
know what you should be focusing on
