Senior management
Piush Vidyarthi, CEO
Piush is a co-founder of Cross Bay Medical, Inc.
He has over 22 years of experience in the medical
device and diagnostic market. He has worked at
3M, Alcon Surgical, Origin Medsystems (formerly
Guidant and now Abbott) and Conceptus in
engineering. He began commercializing products
while at Conceptus. To date, Piush has brought
over 15 products to market. His background
includes engineering, clinical development, OUS
commercialization, marketing and business
development. Piush has expertise in developing
innovative products for the OUS market and
establishing and managing distribution networks in
Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He is strategically
based in the San Francisco Bay Area so as to
leverage his contacts within Venture Capital and
SME community.

Dan Becker is a highly successful entrepreneur having
led many successful businesses in Silicon Valley since
the early 1980′s. He has led successful ventures such
as ComputerAttic and Reliant Integration Services. Dan
is currently, the president and co-founder of Force by
Design and a partner/investor in CrossBay Medical,
Inc. Dan’s operational experience in succesful
companies will be a valuable asset as CrossBay
continues to grow from a start-up to an emerging
company. Dan knows the value of building cohesive
teams and the real-world implications of procedure and
process. He will work with CrossBay to manage the
continual improvement process to ensure each project
is better than the last. Dan received his bachelor’s
degree in small business management from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Rene Hogeboom, MD Europe
Rene is a serial entrepreneur in Medical Distribution
and a co-founder in Cross Bay Medical. He has
been in the Medical industry since 1985. He has
founded multiple successful distribution companies
focused in Benelux. His current company Sigma
Medical was established in 1989. This company
generates over €4M in annual revenues. Rene has
also co-founded BiologiQ, www.biologiq.nl and
Angiocare, (sold in Feb, 2008). He has a very
established network of European distributors and
has contacts within the Dutch Venture Capital and
Start-up community.

Cristiano Fontana, Chief Financial Officer
Cristiano is a graduate of the Economic Cattolica University of
Milan and has gotten an SDA Corporate Finance towards
University Bocconi In Milan. He is part of the management team
at Cremascoli&Iris. He is responsible for sales and marketing
and manages sales, support, professional education, and
marketing functions. He manages 25 employees, 20 sales
representatives, 3 sub-distributors, and the commercial
department. In the near term, Cristiano will undertake
responsibility for the entire operations of Cremascoli&Iris which
currently has annual revenues of 7M Euro

JC Bodin, Director of European sales
JC has over 25 years of experience in the Healthcare
and medical Equipment areas. He has worked at
various levels of management with prestigious leaders
of this industry like Baxter Healthcare and Medtronic.
He has expertise in creating, managing and expanding
commercial networks over Europe , Middle East and
Africa.
JC was the co-founder of Conceptus Europe , which
has rapidly become the current leader in the
Permanent Female Birth Control area over the last 10
years.
Based in France, JC has recently joined the CBM team
to enhance its expansion by sharing his personal
network and offer wider international solutions to
CBMs’ partners.

Xiang Li, MD China
Xiang Li has Over 10 years of experience in
medical equipment and device market in China with
over 5 years focused in women’s health. He is the
current MD of Mediforce Ltd in China. He has built
a successful business in China and managed over
9 offices with more than 100 staff with a combined
turnover of over 200 million RMB. Xiang Li has
sound relationships with leading KOL’s and senior
management of the prestigious hospitals. He is
well versed in the Chinese healthcare market,
especially in Women’s healthcare, Oncology and
Pain Management.

Parag Agarwal, Distribution Manager, SE Asia
Parag is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde in
Glasgow, UK. He is the founding director of Paragise, setup
in 2007 in Scotland to assist and develop the commercial
potential of university intellectual properties. In 2009, the
company added a private equity investor to its board of
directors, and Parag moved to Asia (Mumbai and Singapore)
to market innovative Scottish healthcare technologies in India
and Southeast Asia. Their first product is Breastlight, a tool
to detect breast cancer at home using advanced LED
technology. Paragise is assisting Cross Bay Medical in
bringing its technologies to market in SE Asia.

unification as a rationale to build a succesful global

  • 11. Senior management Piush Vidyarthi, CEO Piush is a co-founder of Cross Bay Medical, Inc. He has over 22 years of experience in the medical device and diagnostic market. He has worked at 3M, Alcon Surgical, Origin Medsystems (formerly Guidant and now Abbott) and Conceptus in engineering. He began commercializing products while at Conceptus. To date, Piush has brought over 15 products to market. His background includes engineering, clinical development, OUS commercialization, marketing and business development. Piush has expertise in developing innovative products for the OUS market and establishing and managing distribution networks in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He is strategically based in the San Francisco Bay Area so as to leverage his contacts within Venture Capital and SME community.

He has led successful ventures such as ComputerAttic and Reliant Integration Services. Dan is currently, the president and co-founder of Force by Design and a partner/investor in CrossBay Medical, Inc. Dan’s operational experience in succesful companies will be a valuable asset as CrossBay continues to grow from a start-up to an emerging company. Dan knows the value of building cohesive teams and the real-world implications of procedure and process. He will work with CrossBay to manage the continual improvement process to ensure each project is better than the last.   • 13. Senior management Rene Hogeboom, MD Europe Rene is a serial entrepreneur in Medical Distribution and a co-founder in Cross Bay Medical. He has been in the Medical industry since 1985. He has founded multiple successful distribution companies focused in Benelux. His current company Sigma Medical was established in 1989. This company generates over €4M in annual revenues. Rene has also co-founded BiologiQ, www.biologiq.nl and Angiocare, (sold in Feb, 2008). He has a very established network of European distributors and has contacts within the Dutch Venture Capital and Start-up community.

Senior management Cristiano Fontana, Chief Financial Officer Cristiano is a graduate of the Economic Cattolica University of Milan and has gotten an SDA Corporate Finance towards University Bocconi In Milan. He is part of the management team at Cremascoli&Iris. He is responsible for sales and marketing and manages sales, support, professional education, and marketing functions. He manages 25 employees, 20 sales representatives, 3 sub-distributors, and the commercial department. In the near term, Cristiano will undertake responsibility for the entire operations of Cremascoli&Iris which currently has annual revenues of 7M Euro

He has worked at various levels of management with prestigious leaders of this industry like Baxter Healthcare and Medtronic. JC was the co-founder of Conceptus Europe , which has rapidly become the current leader in the Permanent Female Birth Control area over the last 10 years. Based in France, JC has recently joined the CBM team to enhance its expansion by sharing his personal network and offer wider international solutions to CBMs’ partners.

He is the current MD of Mediforce Ltd in China. He has built a successful business in China and managed over 9 offices with more than 100 staff with a combined turnover of over 200 million RMB. Xiang Li has sound relationships with leading KOL’s and senior management of the prestigious hospitals. He is well versed in the Chinese healthcare market, especially in Women’s healthcare, Oncology and Pain Management.
