My teaching philosophyis builtupon two principles:to foster critical thinking skills and to
inspire lifelong learning. Iam committed to giving every studentthe bestpossible education
through sharing mypassion for reading and writing. My hope is that my students will
develop or increase their enthusiasm for learning.
EXPERIENCE ENGLISH I TEAM LEADER TOMBALL HIGH SCHOOL
2015-2016
This is my first year in Tomball and as the 9th
grade Team Leader. The team approach is
evolving in Tomball ISD. As the Team leader,my job is more aboutfacilitating our planning
time and being a key communicator to between the administration and the other teachers.
ENGLISH II TEAM LEADER CYPRESS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL
2011-2015
I have been the Team Leader for the lastthree years. As the team leader,my team has
achieved the highestSTAAR passing percentages in Cypress Fairbanks ISD for the last
three years. We have helped write curriculum atthe districtlevel, as well as the District
Benchmark Assessments. We have also helped create the Summer School Curriculum for
English II STAAR retesters.
As the Team Leader,my responsibilities are as follows:

At this Title I campus,I was the Team Leader from 2008 to 2010. During this time I was
selected as the Building Better Relationships campus representative atthe districtlevel. I
