Dear Intern Coordinator/Manager:
Iʼm writing to endorse and recommend Caitlin Manocchio, a film student at Chapman
University. She responded last spring to an internship we posted at Internships.com for
our Writers Guild Foundation Libraryʼs summer position. Caitlin was interviewed,
accepted and spent June through August 2014 working several days a week at the
library in a variety of capacities.
Caitlin has extraordinary enthusiasm, interest, strong work ethic, as well as a cheerful
and focused attitude. Her work at the library encompassed a range of duties. The
Writers Guild Foundationʼs library is a special collection devoted to screen and
television writing, its craft, Guild, history and unique place in the culture of motion
pictures and television. Caitlin was unfailingly polite, engaged, and ready to accomplish
a variety of tasks, from assisting front desk patrons (the library is open to the public and
receives a broad range of inquiries), researching writing and production credits,
preparation of materials for cataloging and binding, and development and mounting
of exhibits.
Caitlin may seem shy at first but behind the modesty thereʼs an intense interest in doing
good work and furthering her own knowledge and experience, as well as making a
genuine contribution to the institution she is serving.
I would highly recommend her for any intern position. Please contact me if you require
further information that I can provide.
Thank you.
