Deliverable:
· Preparation of low permittivity pressboard by blending of synthetic polymers, like Cromp-
140, Cromp-190 fibers with cellulose.
· Studied different variables like temperature, pressure, amount of adhesive, time for the
preparation of pressboard.
· Modified pressboard has dielectric constant of 3.6 to 3.8 compared to virgin pressboard (4.4
to 4.8) with addition of 25% Cromp-140 fibers.
