2. Most of you might have received a reminder from the HR for
submission of proofs of Tax saving investments.
Are you worried that you have not utilized all the Tax saving
provisions? ? ?
If you have already made the provisions and investments, then
it’s no big deal for you. But in case you are one of the late
movers, time has come to make fast moves and consult us for
corrective steps for the next financial year i.e 2017-18.

3. What is Tax Planning ?
Tax Planning is a very important part of an individual's financial
planning. Nobody wants to give their hard earned money as taxes.
Therefore planning for taxes is important so that one can get
maximum advantage of all the provisions available under the
Income Tax Act 1961. Tax Planning is not only about Tax
reduction but also Income Enhancement.

4. Why Tax Planning ?
• Primary objective of Tax Planning is to minimize the Tax Liability.
one should be aware that Tax Planning is done under purview of
Tax laws which is legal and legible.
• By investing in products for which deductions are available
under Tax laws, Tax/Investment Planners should also take
care that such investments are productive and giving feasible
return.
Eg : 1) Choosing the right ELSS (Equity Linked Saving Scheme) .
2) NSC or PPF or Both ??
3) ELSS vs. ULIPs
4) Dependents care such as Sukanya Samriddhi Account for
girl child, Life Insurance Premiums.
