2. My Magazine Front Cover I named my magazine ‘Noise?’ because I thought it related to all readers because at some point a parent has used this word to describe their children's music. I wanted to use bright colours throughout my magazine because they’re eye catching and interesting. I was thinking that a potential buyer would be drawn more to colour than a simple black cover. I didn’t want to make the magazine complicated so used a simple font. I thought the font style that I did use was still interesting. I thought that the bands featured on my front cover were on a broad spectrum and would interest the entirety of my target audience.
3. My Music Magazine Contents Page I kept the colour scheme as a theme throughout my magazine only making a slight change on each of my pages. To get the green effect on my pictures, I went to filter then selected sketch and found an effect that I liked that I thought went well with the theme of the magazine. I chose chalk and charcoal and adjusted the setting until I found it the way I liked it. I took the layout of the text from looking at old Kerrang contents pages and got the language from Kerrang Magazines too.
4. My Music Magazine Double Page Spread I kept the theme going on my double page spread but I also wanted there to be a change because it was main feature of the magazine, so I changed the grey background to black. I wanted the photo of my main feature band to be relevant to the band’s name. So I used paint bucket to change some of the clothing colour neon. I kept the interview completely about the band and tried to show them as a band with charisma I thought the band name was original and I thought of a random name that would appeal to my target audience. I thought that the band having a strange name would be appealing.
