Production Supervisor, 07/18/2012-Present
Giant Cement, Harleyville, South Carolina
• Provide leadership for the safety and environmental programs within his area of
responsibility
• Initiate and manage programs to optimize production rates, equipment
availability, fuel consumption, waste derived fuel usage, and electric power
consumption
• Troubleshoot and evaluate causes for equipment malfunctions and takes
appropriate action to initiate repairs or adjustments
• Interpret company policy and administer labor agreements for assigned
personnel
• Provides MSHA part 46 training of employees in his area of responsibility

• Assisted with checking and troubleshooting areas such as: finish mills, raw
mills, kiln, airslides, conveyor belts, motors, gear reducers, head wheels, rollers,
counterweights, dust collectors, cooling towers, and tail wheels.
• I operated the following heavy equipment: clinker crane, pay loaders, and
bobcats.
• I followed strict lockout tag out procedures and ppe procedures.
Production Technologist (Smelting) 1/10/10-06/2011
Alcoa- Mt. Holly Plant, Goose Creek, South Carolina
• Operated an overhead P&H crane to tap metal and bath out pots.
• Assist with changing out anodes and setting the new anodes at correct
measurements for production of most metal.
