2. Descriptive Essay About A Hero
When talking about a hero, some people might think of a veteran, a fire fighter, or even
superman. The definition of the word "hero" varies between different people; however, my
definition of a hero is someone who is selfless, brave, and strong. Someone who doesn't runaway
when things get hard, who gives their all just for the wellbeing of others regardless of the strain it
puts on themselves. When thinking of the word "hero" the only person who comes to my mind
is my cousin Cassy. Cassy fits my own personal description of a hero; she is selfless, brave, and
strong. She doesn't run away when things get tough and most importantly, she looks out for
others no matter what the situation is. What is a hero to you? On September 24th of 2017, my
parents, along with my sister and I, walked into my grandma's house around three o'clock in the
afternoon. My aunt Patty had told us she had very important news for us to hear that evening. As
we sat down in the living room of my grandma's small condo, everybody looked at one another
awkwardly waiting for someone to speak first. My mom started the conversation by asking how
long my aunt was going to be in town. My aunt slightly teared up as she tried to spit out her
response. She began to tell us that she was actually moving back home to Fargo from the farm
place her and her boyfriend lived at near Devils Lake. My aunt started to stutter after a while and
then finally blurted out the sentence that nobody ever wants to hear come from a loved

3. Losing Someone Essay
Losing Someone The world seems to stand still when you are told. That feeling you have never
felt before, of total sadness. You feel faint and dazed as if you are falling or dreaming. You were
told this was going to happen, but you could never be prepared for it. You don't know what to say,
you are totally speechless. You burn up, feel dizzy but no tears will come. You have to get out of
there, to escape, runaway anything to make this feeling fade. You just don't want to believe it had
happened after everything. Part of you wants to cry your heart out and the other part wants to hit
something with the anger that raging inside you. Sound familiar? She had taken her last breath and

They did exactly say how long she had, but they thought it would be a few days but she even
proved them wrong on that. She lived for another four amazing weeks! The last words I said to
her was that I loved her and goodnight because she was going to sleep, I'm so glad I got to tell her
that because I wanted her to know. The funeral was the biggest challenge, actually having to say
goodbye. So many people were there because she was such an inspiration, a whole sea of pink, her
favourite colour. Thousands of flowers in all shapes and sizes but always pink. It just proved how
special she was to so many people. We all went to the pub she used to work at afterwards and it felt
like she was actually there with us which was a huge comfort. She had wanted us all to get drunk
and have a good time so we did as we were told! I have never lost anyone before and being so close
to my age too it was scary. It's still hard now when I see pink or hear her name. The toughest time
was when I got my G.C.S.E results and she wasn't here for me to tell her. I even went to text her
which now I've found out is perfectly normal. The whole time she was ill I never thought she was

4. I Am A Quiet Person Essay
I'm a quiet person. I've always been a quiet person, even in my past life. The life I had before this
new one. Though I was a pretty normal person I would say. I knew Heartbreak and teenage fever
just like any other teen. I'm always mad and overly sensitive. Everything I felt in my past life, I
feel in this life, only ten times worse. Except only now, these traits come with powers. My anger
strikes at any moment and I blow up. Also I could burst into a puddle of tears at any second.
There he was Dean Marintino. He was my first love in our past life. He doesn't know that though.
Also, he broke my heart, he doesn't know that either. I know that, I know a lot of things I'm not
supposed to remember from the past life. I think maybe that's why I still get mad all the time.
Maybe that's why I blow up how I do. No one was cursed with this remembrance, but me....show

blowing up. Sitting in my chair I thought "I could really accidently burn this place down, if I
wanted too". Fire was much like the anger I felt. Water was much like the love I felt. They mixed
together like paint in my heart. I only felt the pain when Dean was around. Deep down, he still

5. Descriptive Paragraph About My Family
My mom's name is Lisa and she was a PTA but is now a stay at home mom. My dad's name is
Luis and he was a chemical and nuclear engineer, but now owns his own business. I have 3 sisters:
Angie, Silencia, and Mahalia. I also have 3 brothers: Matthias, Geminiah, and Elshaddai. Angie
works with my dad to eventually take over the family business. The rest of my siblings are in
school except for Elshaddai who is only 3. My family expects me to be a good example to my
younger siblings and encourage them. To do this they also expect me to do well in school and in
athletics. My mom is a very outgoing, loud, and energetic person. My dad is also very outgoing
and loud, but he has more of a serious side to him. Angie is really fun, but she also has a more
relaxed personality. Mahalia is very loud, active, and argumentative. Silencia is the most softâspoken
and relaxed out of everyone. Matthias is very outgoing, loud, and active. Geminiah and Elshaddai
are both loud and very active. I have good relationships with everyone in my family. I do have
small disagreements with my siblings sometimes, but we all love each other a lot. I had a very
unusual childhood, but it was still fun. My childhood was unusual because it involved a lot of
training but that's what we did together as a family, and growing up I had friends that did the same
thing and we all enjoyed it.
In grade school I competed in a lot of powerlifting meets and got to travel all over the country to

6. My Personal Identity Essay
A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests
and surrounding environments are all factors that tend to help shape a person's identity. Some
factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a
person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture
may influence a person's sense of responsibilities, ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and
sports, and many other aspects of life. Friends and surrounding environments may influence a
person's taste in clothing, music, speech, and social activities. Personal interests are what truly set
individuals apart. An individual is not a puppet...show more content...
Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends
I despise are rap and hipâhop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music'
is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of
adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart
pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I
love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be
on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics
that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly
consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering
(especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is
measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very
strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that,
although some people just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will
not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational experiences also tend to influence a
person's identity. I have not had too many educational

7. Who I Describe A Person Am I?
What type of person am I? Honestly that can be a difficult question to address. The person I am is
understanding and kind. However, it can be very difficult to always be that person. People are
constantly changing and adapting to the new situations they face. I have been through both
exuberant and tragic events and they have both shaped the person I am today but I am always
changing. I like to believe I am the kind of person anyone can go to if they need help.
To begin with, some of the most important people in my life, those who have gotten me to this
point, are my mother and my best friend Mary Barnett. My mother has always been at my side
since day one and she has never failed to help me through any tough situation. She taught me the
way the world works and encouraged me to chase my dreams. I owe my mother more than anyone
else. However, my best friend Mary Barnett has also been by my side for about 8 years now. She has
gotten me over the heartbreaks of losing friends to the death of my grandfather. No one can make
me feel as safe and secure as her. I owe her for teaching me to be kind to everyone even if no one is
kind to me. Both of these women have shaped my beliefs and the way I see the world.
Subsequently, there are many places, much like people, who have shaped the person I am. Theplace
I have spent the last 8 years was a unbelievably small town in Indiana. With a population nearly a
third of that of Cocoa Beach. One place that my best friend and I always went was this tiny park
directly in the center of town. The park was not much but we had so many late night talks and get to
know each other conversations at this park that it felt somehow important. Going to this tiny park
became impacting and I knew that every time we were supposed to meet, it would be at that park.
Places have a way of becoming important when you have more than one experience there. For me,
nothing is more important than that park.
Similarly, there are several events that have occurred in my life that made me into the person I am
today. Those events are huge moments in my life that either affected me in a negative or positive
way. Meeting my best friend was a huge event to me. I remember every detail on the day I met her

8. Describe A Homeless Person
He looks out across the bustling city street, shouldering the bag containing his meager possessions
for what seems like the hundredth time; an action that had long ago become habit, comforting in its
familiarity. His expression is one of determination, but his stance is one of utter defeat and loss. It
is clear to all who see him that something is wrong, and yet nobody draws closer, instead simply
walking past without sparing him a second glance. Ultimately, he is just another wanderer on the
streets, and nothing about his appearance is spectacular or eye catching in any way. He is
completely anonymous; blending in with the people hurrying on their way to their destinations,
faces turned towards the ground, or perhaps to their companion in misery.
Not that he minds the seclusion his anonymity gives him. Quite the opposite, in reality; it allows him
to sneak by unnoticed, simply moving with the hustle and bustle instead of fighting against it and
getting tangled up where he doesn't belong. He enjoys the ability to isolate himself, only needing to
nod and maybe utter a hasty apology when he pushes against someone a touch too hard. It's like

building with a hole or a busted out window to slip through, but more often than not he walks all

My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and
qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is
beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned
that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on

a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it
and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even
me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because
I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning
styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last
year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The
results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My valuesâwhich I didn't see clearlyâare now clear, and I
found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am

someone that's been a stranger to me for years and learned some interesting facts about them as a
person. My stranger, Jake Allen, appears to be very confident in his appearance, athletic,

over one hundred likes and multiple comments. This shows popularity is indeed something he
has, confirming my theory from above. All the pictures look very professional, which reveals
again he greatly cares about the way he presents himself. In one posts, Jake holds a surfboard with
the caption "try something new. you will amaze yourself with what you are capable of", from
this it is implied he has never surfed before. Not only does this post show Jake is alright with
going out of his comfort zone and attempting something brand new, but he is also very athletic.
From last years boys' volleyball JV 1 roster, I found Jake Allen 's name. This shows that he takes
time and keeps himself in shape. By making it into JV 1, it shows he is very dedicated and
responsible. Not only does he practice a lot to maintain his skill level in volleyball, he also had to
balance school work with the sport. His posture in class also revealed many things about him as a
person. Jake Allen is always slouched down and does not move very often, presenting himself as a
very laid back person. Unlike some people who twitch in their seat, he

12. Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his
professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal
characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more
and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for
professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in
many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to
pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few
people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and
find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until
I get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and
fineâtune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my
ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has
changed in last few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become
the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one
is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the
nomenclature of day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times.
Adaptability, personally, has created a farâreaching international outlook and I was able to spend
time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only
diversified my work experience but also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to
diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my
eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there

15. The three things that have made the biggest impact on and have influenced my life that shaped
me into the person I am today are family background, experiences from my school year, and
religious beliefs. Our culture provides a lens through which we view the world and interpret our
everyday experiences. In order to know who I am today, I must look at who you've been. Many
educators around the country are interested in developing a multicultural approach in their teaching.
They find themselves in classrooms with 25 children of varying racial and cultural backgrounds,
and are looking for ways to connect what they do in the classroom to the cultures represented by
their students. Before we can begin to understand others, however, we need to understand ourselves
and what we bring to our interactions with others. Every time we engage with our surroundings we
create an experience both consciously and unconsciously. Our live experiences whether traumatic or
joyful shape who we are over time. An experience that has defined the person I am today is my
journey I went through as a child traveling back and forth from the United States to Mexico as an
undocumented. If a child has an impact when moving into a new house and neighborhood imagine

A sophomore at Downtown Magnets High School, I demonstrate passion in my education, ambition

is the result of my mindset, in that aside from finding education a necessity, it is enjoyable,
challenging, and beneficial in fulfilling my future aspirations. For example, I find my Honors
Advanced Mathematics class my most unique course. It builds upon my ability to critically think,
present data or information, and understand higherâlevel math at a rapid pace. In particular, it is the
ability to solve realâworld situations and the underlying mystery mathematicians have yet to solve
that intrigues me to continue learning. The class expects much of me, but I am aware that it is

17. Everybody has an identity, it makes them individual and unique, and it defines who you are as a
person. This project about my identity showed me what makes me unique. I would have never
known how much my friends mean to me or how my identities connect with each other. I have three
identities that make me who I am, cultural, personal, and social. A specific quality that covers my
cultural identity is being Czechoslovakian. Both sides of my family have at least a part of Czech in
them. My greatâgrandparents are from Czech Republic and my grandpa was the first generation in
America, he was born in Ohio. This is very important because I have always identified as Czech
and it is a big part of me, as I am so interested in ancestry. For my personal identity, the biggest part
is my personality, being loud and outgoing, has always been important to me. The reason being, it
is how people view me. A lot of people know me as the loud person or the person who talks a lot.
That is meaningful to me considering I like people to view me in a certain way The last identity,
social, is one of the most important to me because it involves my friends, and through this project,
I learned how vital they really are to my social identity. I realized that I have a good amount of
friends in this project. It is nice to have people as a support system and to relate with. These
qualities show that I value being loud and outgoing. It also says that I value my family and they
are a big part of life. The last one, social, ties in with the first one because it shows I am outgoing
and friendly. My interactions with people vary by my first impressions of them, but I try and give
everyone a fair chance and I think that is important. I believe I am friendly when I first introduce
myself, and I try to be myself and show my personality and who I am as a person, and they can
judge me based off of that. I might judge someone for their personality because I have such a big
one, but also the conversation we have together. One example is, I went to a camp over the
summer and there was someone who didn't seem very friendly and didn't look the nicest, so I didn't
approach her. Later that day, I decided why not give her a chance because she seemed alone

Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic

would describe myself in stressful situations is that I tend to panic right away instead of stopping
and thinking what should I do to resolve this problem. Instead of panicking and stressing out right
away maybe I should ask the other person what I should do or what they would do. Nonâ Verbal
Behavior : I would describe the messages that my nonverbal behavior send is that I act very
approachable to others, people always tell me that I am always happy and smiling, and that
whenever people see me I am always smiling. Listening skills: The way that I would describe
myself when listening to others is first I let them speak to get their whole point across. I
sometimes interrupt, and I also ask questions, as well as pay close attention to what the person is

20. Creative Person
A creative person is someone who uses their imagination and intuition to create something new or to
make changes to something that already exists. Creative people have many attributes such as

help me work better in a group.
There are also aspects that can damage or destroy a person's creativity. There are six factors that
when brought upon a person who is doing something creative, will undermine both the intrinsic
interest and creative potential of the project. The six factors are:
1.Expected Evaluation: If a person is expecting somebody to be evaluating their work they will
worry about criticisms the person might make. The pressure will cause a person's creativity to be
restricted.
2.Surveillance: Creativity would also be harmed if there is a person constantly peering over your
shoulder as you are trying to be creative.
3.Reward: Although the incentive of a reward might help someone, it might also harm creativity as
I believe a person would be trying to hard to do something they cant and also trying to make
something to perfect and never accepting the good work they have done.
4.Competition: If a person is in competition with another they might focus all their energy on the
competition rather than creativity of the project.
5.Restricted Choice: If people have boundaries in what they are
