After reading Nicholas Carr's article Is Google Making Us Stupid? I still agree with my original
claim, although not so much on the topic that robots will purposely hurt us; that is for a different
discussion. Carr's article includes evidence about how Google is hurting our brain more than
helping it. Carr explains his own experiences before technology became the center of our world.
He describes the lengthy books he used to read and how he used to dive into them. His words are,
"my mind now expects to take in information the way the Net distributes it: in a swiftly moving

and learn. The way our children learn has also changed. Children are like sponges their minds soak

Children to day have no choice but to be somehow influenced by technology. Many people have a
largely growing opinion on technology, being positive or negative on children. Children's usage of
technology should be limited and monitored. Too much usage can result in violence upon to many
violent video games,as well as laziness and obesity from prolonged hours of usage. The moral of it
all is children are being saturated in technology being that its good or bad. If a child plays a lot of
video games it can define his or hers attitude towards school or even towards family.Boys seem to be
more into video games than girls.
The usage of technology in school as well as with speech and language, benefits children in easier
learning. Children use educational games to better understand subjects being taught. Children access
the internet to get better understanding of topics.
Not all usage of technology will benefit children. Technology can affect a child's health.It can lead to
weight issues, obesity. It can affect their eyesight. Prolonged sitting can result in back problems that
will affect them into adulthood. It affects the relationships children have with parents and even other
children.Rather than socializing and communicating older children are resorting to technology to
communicate via text and instant messaging.
A negative impact on children in the real word. Prolonged usage can defer a child's character,
causing a negative relationship with peers. It is also a cause of concern in writing skills. As children
