innocent human life and is unconstitutional. As a civilized society, how can one permit a sacred
human life to be taken way without choice. The United States has allowed for such an unethical
thing to occur for years, by making abortion legal. But abortion is against the U.S. Constitution and
should be banned. You may ask why is abortion against the constitution? Well abortion is against the
constitution because if opposes Amendment XIV: Sections 1 that states No state shall make or
enforce any law which shall abridge

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. It has been going on for many centuries. No one knows
when the first abortion was because many of them were never documented. Approximately half of
the women in the United States have had at least one pregnancy that they aborted ("Abortion In"). In
the 1820s there were laws forbidding abortion after fourth month of pregnancy. Many feminist, such
as Susan B. Anthony are against abortion. Susan B. Anthony was an American civil rights leader in
the 19th century ("Susan B. Anthony"). Many people were against the idea of abortion until the 19th
century. A lot of states felt that, even though in the womb, the child still has rights in this world.

(Abortion Access) Even thought women feel that these are legit reason for having abortion, no
reason is. There are a few different types of ways to have an abortion: dilation and evacuation,
suction curettage, manual vacuum aspiration, and the morning after pill. Dilation and evacuation
is done during the second trimester of pregnancy. They spread the cervix, pull out fetal parts, and
crush the skull for easier removal. Suction curettage is when they once again spread the cervix,
use a suction tube and suck the fetus and remaining parts out. Manual vacuum aspiration is
similar to the one stated before. It is done early in the pregnancy and a tube is inserted into the
uterus and the embryo is suctioned out. The morning after pill is usually used right after
something during sexual intercourse goes wrong. This pill is also known as "Emergency
Contraceptive". This basically 'kills' the baby if it has already been conceived. (How Abortions
Are Done) Being against this issue, I feel that abortion should never be an option, or a way out.
Getting pregnant was based on your actions so it is your responsibility, everyone should have a
chance at life, and abortion is a synonym for murder. Abortion is considered to be one of the safest
medical procedures. Pro–choice people do not see anything wrong with this procedure. The reasons
that people are pro–choice are that it's a woman's choice, it is not considered murder, and it's the
only method in their eyes

Why Is Abortion Considered Murder
Abortion has been the topic of controversy for ages. Most of those who are opposed are religious
and view abortion as a sin. Those who are in support of it say that women deserve to make their own
choices and that the fetus isn't even a human being. Viewing it without allowing religion to cloud
judgement, abortion is still wrong. There are many arguments supporting both sides of abortion. That
still leaves the question, "Is abortion murder?"
One very common argument against abortion is that abortion could be considered murder. The
Unborn Victims of Violence Act states that "anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an
unborn child should 'be punished... for intentionally killing or attempting to kill a human being.'"
This is a more factual argument that rings true. If there's an act that is against abortion, it's obvious
that those opposed to abortion aren't just religious freaks. Abortion is considered murder because the
fetus is alive. It is a live human being therefore all the normal rights are given to that fetus. For
California, the definition of murder states "murder is the deliberate killing of a "fellow creature".
An unborn baby "is, if not a human being, a living creature, and should be protected by the same
laws as the rest of us." Bringing written law into arguments normally goes to show that it's more than

Pro–choicers often say that "abortion isn't murder because until there's a mature nervous system,
there's no conscious person." The most common argument is that the fetus doesn't feel anything until
the third trimester because that's when they're fully developed. But in reality, "by 8 weeks a fetus
can flex their spine, an indication that enough of a nervous system exists to enable it to feel pain."
This argument makes it clear that fetuses that are in the first trimester can feel pain. It doesn't matter
what trimester the woman is in, either way the unborn baby will feel
