EXPERIENCE Preliminary and Detail Design – Sub-team lead of 10 person team Spring 2015 – Fall 2015
 Designing and manufacture a sea- and land-based UAV aircraft for the Coast Guard.
 Responsible for the performance analysis of the UAV.
 Calculate equations for take-off distance, landing distance, cruise and loiter speeds and the
climb and decent rates along with the times of each in order to meet manufacture
requirements.
 Assist team leader in facilitating discussions regarding design decisions and help ensure that a
majority decision is reached.
 Assist team leader in the editing of all CDRL documents and help ensure timely submission.
Experimental Aerodynamics – Member of 4 person team Fall 2014
 Performed wind tunnel testing and observed air flow over wing.
 Performed supersonic testing to observe angle of shock wave.
Design of Jet Dragster – Member of 20 person team Fall 2012 - Fall 2013
 Learned how to assemble a new dragster and how aerodynamics and propulsion are
considered in the design.
 Assembled the main frame of the dragster to the set requirements.
 Took dimensions of each piece of the frame to construct a Catia model.
