Introduction
● Network Technologies is one of the most significant technological scientific
discoveries of our time. Long before the Internet took over our lives, scientists
and researchers worked to connect computers. Their efforts helped to establish
our current state of networking. Network Technologies is significant in today's
ever-changing information technology (IT) setting. Network and
communication technologies have played a role in this rise. Endpoints and
devices can be connected via computer networking on local area networks
(LANs) or wide area networks (WANs). This enables interaction, communication,
and resource sharing among businesses, service providers, and consumers.

History
Early networks of communicating computers included the military radar
system Semi-Automatic Ground Environment (SAGE),started in the
late1950s.
The commercial airline reservation system semi-automatic business research
environment (SABRE) went online with two connected mainframes

Linking output systems like teletypewriters to computers was an interest at the
Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) when, J.C.R. Llckl.der were hired
and developed a working group, he called the “Intergalactic Computer Network’
1964
Researchers at Dartmouth developed the Dartmouth Time Sharing System for
distributed users of large computer systems. At the same time, the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, a research group supported by General Electric and Bell Labs
used a computer to route and manage telephone connections.

History
Commercial services using X.25 were
deployed, and later used as an
underlying infrastructure for
expanding TCP/IP networks.
Home broad band enters mainstream
usage and begins growing at a faster
rate than Internet dial-up services.
Thomas Marill and Lawrence G Roberts created
the first wide area network (WAN). This was an
immediate precursor to the ARPANET, of which
Roberts became program manager.
At the same time, the first widely used
telephone switch that used true computer
control was introduced by Western Electric.
The 56K modem was invented
by Dr. Brent Townshend

10 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) was the only market segment to show
sequential port and revenue growth in 2009, due in large part to
shipments of purpose-built fixed 10 GE boxes for the data center.

Definition of Network Technology
Programming Language
Office Productivity 2
• Network technology is the use of communication/network protocols to
enable data exchange between large and small information systems
within an infrastructure. Network technology is a group of technologies
that are used to send and receive data over a computer network. It
allows two or more computers to communicate with each other via the
Internet or other networks by allowing data transmission between
them.

• The need for a better internet connectivity in the Philippines that is comparable to
the rest of the world has become more crucial as businesses are now pivoting
towards a digital economy.
• President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the importance of universal
connectivity and the need to maximize the potential of these innovations in
improving the customer experience when transacting business.
• One of the most important developments aimed at the realization towards the
expansion of internet connectivity in the Philippines is the common tower policy.
Under this, telco companies are now freed from the costly capital of building their
own towers, as this responsibility now lies in the hands of companies engaged solely
in building tower infrastructures. This allows internet service providers to focus on
their core business of providing improved services that their customers need.

5G The term 5G is used to describe the fifth generation of the broadband cellular network standard. It
began rolling out in 2019 and is expected to have nearly 1.7 billion subscribers by 2025. Its coverage is
divided into cells that represent tiny geographical areas. Using radio waves sent from the cell's MIMO
(multiple inputs, multiple outputs) antenna, every wireless device within the cell can connect to the
Internet and phone network.
WiFi
6
Wi-Fi 6, also called 802.11ax, is an upgrade on the current highest-speed Wi-Fi protocol in wide use,
802.11ac. Wi-Fi 6 brings a dramatic improvement in efficiency across all existing Wi-Fi bands, including
older 2.4GHz frequencies. Wi-Fi 6 will also likely get new spectrum in the 6GHz band in 2019 or 2020,
further improving its speed.
The biggest improvement that comes with Wi-Fi 6 is that it increases the density of devices that can co-
exist in a single space, further increasing the speed of all devices when there is more than one.
Wi-Fi 6 will eventually improve the experience for almost all wireless users, from office workers, who will
find that their devices communicate more reliably and quickly in crowded offices, to people supporting
constellations of IoT (internet of things) devices, who will find that they can pack more low-power
devices into a space with fewer access points.

Network Technologies
 Network technology describes the ideas on which any system is structured & can be
applied to any network depending on transmission and stairs. Network technology allows
the data exchange between small &large information systems which are utilized by mainly
institutions and companies. So, network technology is used to exchange and transmitting
data.
 For installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the network, network specialists like
engineers are accountable to transmit digital data like visual, audio data files. & data files.
Using these networks, clients can transmit messages, data & files through e-mail
otherwise other channels through Internet connections based on the requirements of an
organization.

Network Technologies
Office Productivity 2
• We use technology to complete the most of our tasks. The first thing
a student does is check their schedules on their devices. When you are
at work, you go over the tasks for the day. We interact with
technology in some way throughout the day. The best part about
technology is that it allows us to progress. It assists us in growing and
seeking better ways to live our lives. We can automate most of our
tasks and spend our time doing things we enjoy. We would have
wasted our time and energy doing things we didn't enjoy if it hadn't
been for technology.

It began rolling out in 2019 and is expected to have nearly 1.7 billion subscribers by 2025. Its coverage is divided into cells that represent tiny geographical areas. Using radio waves sent from the cell's MIMO (multiple inputs, multiple outputs) antenna, every wireless device within the cell can connect to the Internet and phone network. WiFi 6 Wi-Fi 6, also called 802.11ax, is an upgrade on the current highest-speed Wi-Fi protocol in wide use, 802.11ac. Wi-Fi 6 brings a dramatic improvement in efficiency across all existing Wi-Fi bands, including older 2.4GHz frequencies. Wi-Fi 6 will also likely get new spectrum in the 6GHz band in 2019 or 2020, further improving its speed. The biggest improvement that comes with Wi-Fi 6 is that it increases the density of devices that can co- exist in a single space, further increasing the speed of all devices when there is more than one. Wi-Fi 6 will eventually improve the experience for almost all wireless users, from office workers, who will find that their devices communicate more reliably and quickly in crowded offices, to people supporting constellations of IoT (internet of things) devices, who will find that they can pack more low-power devices into a space with fewer access points.

The first thing a student does is check their schedules on their devices. When you are at work, you go over the tasks for the day. We interact with technology in some way throughout the day. The best part about technology is that it allows us to progress. It assists us in growing and seeking better ways to live our lives. We can automate most of our tasks and spend our time doing things we enjoy. We would have wasted our time and energy doing things we didn't enjoy if it hadn't been for technology.
