I have over35 yearsprofessional engineeringandprojectmanagementexperience inthe
Telecommunicationsindustry. Mostof thiswithTelstra (andits previousforms) exceptfora2.5 year
secondmentworkingforthe ITU/UNDP in Asia. I commencedasan Engineer Class1in 1976 and
progressedthroughthe engineeringranksrisingtoProfessionalClass4(the highestengineering
classificationatthe time) in1995. Atthat stage I was a SeniorEngineeringManagerleadinga large
teamof EngineersandSeniorTechnical Officers. In2000, I took up an appointmentasa SeniorProject
ManagementforTelstraVietnam. Since thattime Ihave remainedinavarietyof (non-linemanager)
