1. Components:
Antioxidants
Diphenylamine based antioxidants for mineral oil and synthetic base stock lubricants.
C-TEC 557 - Octyl/Butyl Diphenylamine based antioxidant with a fine high temperature stability and
anti-oxidation. C-TEC 557 can effectively control the increase of oil viscosity, particularly in high grade
engine oils. It can also be used in industrial oils.
C-TEC 558 - Dinonyl Diphenylamine based antioxidant with a fine high temperature stability and
excellent anti-oxidation at high temperature. It, particularly, has an excellent long-lasting anti-oxidation
effect, especially to inhibit the oxidation of oils in post stage.
Detergents
Overbased, oil-soluble calcium sulfonate designed for use in combination with other chemicals for
lubricating oils. Maintains good solubility in a wide variety of petroleum-based fluids and exhibits good
corrosion inhibition properties due to its high molecular weight and polarity.
PCA 4400 – Overbased 400 TBN Calcium Sulfonate.
Dispersants
Ashless and chlorine free dispersant polyisobutylene succinimides (PIBSI) prepared from 1000 and 1300
molecular weight high reactive polyisobutylene by thermal adduction process. These dispersants provide
detergency in lubricants as well as protection against carbon deposit and varnish formation.
PCA 5100 - derived from1000 molecular weight high reactive polyisobutylene. Provides good
detergency and dispersion effects.
PCA 5130 - derived from 1300 molecular weight high reactive polyisobutylene. Provides better
detergency and dispersion of oil sludge at low temperature.
Friction Modifier
A multi-functional lubricant additive which acts as a detergent and friction modifier. It neutralizes acids
created by either oxidation or operating conditions.
PCA 4000 – lubricant used for friction modification in engine oils.
Gear Oil Additives
Specially prepared Gear Oil Packages to be used in a variety of Base Oils including Group I, Group II,
Group III, PAO’s, and other synthetic base stocks.
HIPER GP3 – a clear yellow liquid with 16 wt% of sulfur. Exhibits excellent solubility and can be used
to formulate products meeting API GL4, API GL5, MT1, US Steel 224, and DIN 51517 Part 3.
HIPER 360 – a clear yellow liquid with 26 minimum wt% of sulfur. Exhibits excellent solubility and can
be used to formulate products meeting API GL4, API GL5, MT1, US Steel 224, and DIN 51517 Part 3
levels of performance in suitable base stocks.
HIPER 361 – a light amber liquid with 35 wt% of sulfur. HIPER 361 has been developed to formulate
high quality Gear Oils to fully meet API GL5 requirements (ASTM D7450-13). Suitable for use in a
variety of transmission & axle applications. HIPER 361 provides outstanding EP properties which is
demonstrated by single digit results in the L-42 shock loading axle test ans similar results for L-37 & L-
33 tests.
2. Grease Additives
Highly overbased Calcium Sulfonates with good solubility in a wide variety of petroleum-based fluids
and have good anti-corrosion inhibition properties.
AmorCalTM 400M – a highly overbased amorphous Calcium Sulfonate designed for use in combination
with other chemicals for lubricating oils and grease additive. AmorCalTM 400M lends itself well to
gelling processes and is excellent choice for making Calcium Sulfonate Greases or gelled coatings.
AmorCalTM 400FG – a highly overbased amorphous Calcium Sulfonate designed for use in combination
with other chemicals for lubricating oils and grease additive. AmorCalTM 400FG has received NSF
certification as a Nonfood Compound, category HX-1. AmorCalTM 400FG lends itself well to gelling
processes and is excellent choice for making Calcium Sulfonate Greases or gelled coatings.
AmorCalTM 400 (GRE) – a highly overbased synthetic Calcium Sulfonate manufacture from a long Aryl
carbon chain (C20-C24). AmorCalTM 400 (GRE) is designed to be used the manufacturing of high
temperature grease by one step process. High temperature Calcuim Sulfonate grease produced from
AmorCalTM 400 (GRE) offers better dropping test, water resistance, EP/anti-wear performance, and
thermal stability in comparison with Lithium Grease.
Metal Working Soluble Bases
Soltex’s metalworking soluble base packages are used to formulate soluble oil fluid concentrates for metal
removal, metal forming, and other water-extendable lubricant applications. Packages are developed to
offer emulsification, corrosion inhibition, and supplemental lubricity to finished fluids. Soltex’s soluble
base packages offer metalworking formulators a simple and reliable solution to the complex process of
formulating water-extendable fluids.
P-TEC 7210 - a premium soluble oil base package that is based on ester technology. It provides superior
lubrication with low to no foaming along with excellent hard water stability. P-TEC 7210 can be used
with either naphthentic or paraffinic base oils.
Solbase 1580 – a highly effective oil soluble emulsifier base designed for use in paraffinic oils, but with
the addition of a tall oil fatty acid it can also be used with naphthentic oil. Solbase 1580 is based on high
molecular weight sulfonate that when used results in a product that exhibits very good hard water
stability, great lubrication, and corrosion protection for ferrous metals.
Solbase 1100 – a cost effective emulsifier base designed to for use in naphthentic base oils. This base
gives good emulsification properties, corrosion protection and is a good choice for to make a coolant for
flushing chips. It is very easily additised to make medium to premium water extendable fluids with our
line of C-TEC products.
Solbase 100 – a traditional emulsifier for vegetable oils.
Polymeric Esters
High molecular weight polymeric esters to replace chlorinated paraffin in oil and water for cutting and
forming operations. These esters can be used as a co emulsifier, decreasing the amount needed to emulsify
oil. They add corrosion protection, anti-wear and mild EP performance. These Esters are branched chain
polymers and/or saturated giving excellent biostability properties. They can be used to effectively replace
chlorine, lard and other lubricity agents. They do not cause staining and have excellent thermal, oxidative
and hydrolytic stability properties
C-TEC 710 - complex synthetic polymeric ester based on fatty acids for replacing chlorinated paraffins in
soluble oils and semi-synthetics water soluble systems. It contributed to emulsion stability and corrosion
3. protection when neutralized with alkanolamines. It can also be used as a base fluid for rolling oil
applications.
C-TEC 720 – complex synthetic polymeric ester for straight oil and water extendable formulations for
chlorine replacement and lubrication. It is especially good for heavy duty applications, drawing and
stamping applications, as well as soluble oils. Has enhanced solubility in PAO’s to Group III Base Oils.
C-TEC 721 – multifunction complex polymeric ester for use in formulations for straight oil and water
extendable soluble and semi-synthetic formulations. Has enhanced solubility in PAO’s to Group III Base
Oils. It is especially good for aluminum machining.
C-TEC 726 – cost effect complex polymeric ester designed for water extendable soluble and semi-
synthetic formulations that need added lubrication properties. Has enhanced solubility in PAO’s to Group
III Base Oils.
C-TEC 1040M - self emulsifying ester used as a primary or secondary emulsifier to add lubricity,
corrosion, and coupling properties. This ester makes a macro emulsion when mixed with water, and does
not have secondary amines or oil. It can be used in soluble oil and semi-synthetic formulations for ferrous
and non- ferrous metals.
C-TEC 1050 – a self-emulsifying ester that can be used as a primary source for lubrication in synthetic
metalworking fluids. This ester makes a micro emulsion when mixed with water. Beside great lubricity
performance, C-TEC 1050 also gives secondary emulsification properties, added corrosion protection, and
excellent hard water stability. CTEC 1050 is non-staining, cleans off easily, and does not leave a tacky
residue. It can be used for formulations for both ferrous and non-ferrous fluids. It could be an excellent
choice to build synthetic for aluminum machining.
Sodium Sulfonates
Sulfonate BM - a natural, oil-soluble, medium molecular weight, petroleum derived sodium sulfonate.
Functions as a primary emulsifier for formulating soluble oil and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids.
Sulfonate BM also provides inherent corrosion and rust inhibition properties, as well as outstanding
dispersion and wetting properties of both solids and liquid solid systems.
Sulfurized Extreme Pressure Additives
These are a unique combination of vegetable oils and specialty esters which have been sulfurized to yield
a light color low odor material. These unique esters show very good load bearing ability, are soluble in a
large range of base oils, give excellent four ball weld load characteristics and give a 1B copper strip on
the ASTM D130. Sulfur contents range from 12% - 26%
C-TEC 3210 - sulfurized ester that is ashless, and a non-ferrous metal deactivator. This product provides
lubrication, extreme pressure, and copper passivation.
C-TEC 3510 - sulfurized ester that contains 10% inhibited sulfur
C-TEC 3512 - sulfurized ester that contains 12% inhibited sulfur
C-TEC 3520 - sulfurized ester that contains 20% inhibited sulfur.
Hiper 2040 – is a unique sulfurized hydrocarbon that is very light in color and low in odor. This product
has been designed for a variety of applications and formulations. When combined with right elements and
antioxidants it can make superior gear oil packages.
Hiper 3040 – is a sulfurized olefin that is light in color and low in odor. It is suitable for a variety of metal
working applications such as gear hobbing and deep hole drilling. Has a total sulfur content of 40% and
can be used as a component wherever severe extreme pressure properties are required. Hiper 3040 is also
very synergistic with a variety of polymeric esters such as the C-TEC series of polymeric esters
Tackifiers
4. Tackifiers are high molecular weight polymers in oil which provide lubricants with tack, adhesion, and
non-drip characteristics to lubricant formulations.
E858 - General Purpose tackifier
E857- General Purpose tackifier made for application where low color is important
Tackifier FG- General purpose tackifier made from food grade raw materials
Tackifier LV- General purpose takcifier with a lower viscosity for ease in handling
Viscosity Modifiers
Polymeric viscosity modifier and viscosity index improver are added to lubricants to reduce the change in
viscosity of the lubricants across the temperatures range.
PCA 7040 - Ethylene propylene copolymer VII in pellet form. A highly stable olefin copolymer (OCP)
with narrow MW distribution intended for use as VII in mineral oil based automotive crankcase and
industrial lubricants.
BSR 900 - Polyisobutylene (PIB) based viscosity modifier developed for use in a wide range of high
viscosity industrial lubricants and as alternative to 150 bright stock.
Zinc Dithiophosphate (ZDDP)
-a series of Zinc Dithiophosphates for anti-wear protection in engine oils, industrial and automotive gear
oils, hydraulic fluids and grease applications.
CTEC 206 - a zinc thiophosphate which is prepared from thiophosphoric acid made from primary
alcohols. When added to oils it can inhibit bearing corrosion and reduce wear. This additive attributes
multi functionality with antioxidant properties, anti-corrosion and great anti wear protection
CTEC 213 - a traditional ZDDP based on a primary zinc dialkyldithiophosphate that can be effectively
used to impart good lubricity, anti-wear properties as well as inhibiting oxidation characteristics. This
additive is suitable for use in a variety of oil based applications such as greases, turbine oils, engine oils,
gear oils and hydraulic fluids CTEC 213 contains 11.0 percent Zinc.
Automotive Packages:
PTEC 3521- a high performance diesel engine oil additive manufactured using state of the art technology
utilizing components designed for use with Group I and II base oil and non-dispersant VI Improvers. It
provides excellent control of deposits, rust oxidation, bearing corrosion, wear and oil consumption in
highly supercharged diesel engines operated in severe service.
PCA 2877 – a multifunctional lube oil additive package used to formulate high quality monograde and
multigrade gasoline and diesel engine oils with physical and chemical properties similar to a variety of
API classifications.
PTEC 9100 - a passenger car additive package designed to produce high quality passenger car motor oils.
This package is suitable for all gas engines and is fully licensable. At 6.5% treat PTEC 9100 exceeds API
SL approval
PTEC 2022 - a fully licensable low ash additive package used to produce high quality 2 cycle engine oils.
This package demonstrates superior lubricity and detergency in traditional and low smoke lubricant
application. This additive package keeps the engine clean by preventing ring sticking, piston deposits,
and plug fouling.
