Objective
I am looking to get back into the work force after starting and maintaining my own company. I am
looking for a career doing clerical duties and supporting an office/executive in their daily routine.
Work Experience
May 2014 - Current, R&B Farms, Owner
We are a small produce company that sells at local farmer’s markets and grocery stores. Here I work in
the fields as well as maintain Facebook and complete all customer service aspects. I do all of the company
paperwork, ordering, purchasing, sales, coordinating, taxes and marketing.
April 2016 - Current, Downtown Denison Farmers Market, Marketing Manager
I am a vendor here as well as the advertising/marketing manager. I set up meetings with advertising
prospects and work with the other vendors on how we will advertise the market and bring in more
customers. Specific traits I have mastered here are communications via phone, email, text, and face to
face as well as organization. I also assist in making brochures and I recently created a cookbook with
MorrisCookbooks.com to do a fundraiser for the market!
November 2015 - Current, Grand Homes, Vendor/Employee
I am responsible for making sure that homes are move-in ready. We go behind the construction crews
and do clean-up as well as punch-out work. I do final clean up before the new homeowners take
possession. I also do all my own invoicing and work directly with the Superintendent to make sure
everything on the home is in perfect in condition. In this role I must have perfectly organized time
management skills and be detail oriented. Taking direction is a must have in this field.
January 2008 - July 2009, Hill & Wilkinson, Ltd., Administrative Assistant
At Hill & Wilkinson, Ltd. I was an assistant to three Project Managers. I typed out all the submittals,
P.O.’s, RFI’s, Change Orders, etc. within a computer program. Then I was responsible for mailing copies
of the paperwork to the corresponding companies. Other responsibilities were computer work, phones,
email, filing, mailing, copying, faxing, correspondence and other basic clerical jobs.
November 2004 - August 2006, Eagle Contracting, L.P., Field Administrative Assistant
At Eagle Contracting I worked in the field in the Superintendent’s office trailer as his, the Project
Manager, and the Engineer’s assistant/secretary. I greeted anyone who came into the office, kept it
cleaned and stocked, did all the new hire paperwork, created files, answered phones, jobsite ordering
and receiving, organized and set up for meetings, scheduled concrete, copying and faxing, and I also
helped with payroll.
