2. IHB ShipDesign EAD is a Bulgarian company,
member of Industrial Holding Bulgaria (IHB). It is
continuation of Vik-Sandvik-IHB Design -
successful joint venture established in 2007
between Vik-Sandvik AS (the biggest independent
ship design group in the world at that time) and
young and motivated designing team of Bulyard,
the biggest Bulgarian shipyard (part of Industrial
Holding Bulgaria).

for more than 10 projects.

4.  2004 - acquisition of Bulyard (Varna Shipyard) by
IHB
 2007 - establishment of Vik-Sandvik-IHB Design
 2008 - acquisition of Vik-Sandvik AS by Wärtsilä /
changing name to Wärtsilä IHB Ship Design

 2010 - Wärtsilä quits the joint venture
 2011 - IHB directs efforts in ship repair and
retrofit upgrades/conversions
 2014 - IHB reactivates it’s activities in the field of
