By writing this letter, I would like to confirm that Mr. Michael Boateng has worked for JICA
Study Team consisting of members from Oriental Consultants Co. Ltd, CTI Engineering
International and ALMEC Corporation, from February 2012 to May 2013.
He worked for the JICA Study Team as one of project assistant for a variety of tasks including
data collection, hearing, note taking, analysis and technical discussion for preparation of a
Sub-Regional Spatial Development Plan and Structure Plan for Greater Kumasi Sub-region
(Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and its seven adjoining districts).
This project has been sponsored by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under the
direction of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), Ministry of
Finance and Economic Planning (MoFEP), Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology &
Innovation (MESTI) and the Town and Country Planning Department (TCPD).
Mr. Michael Boateng helped the professional works for the Solid Waste Management Engineer,
Water Resource Engineer, Transportation Engineer and as a Project Management Team member,
he has made a tremendous contribution to the success of the project. He has been very
hardworking and a good team member.
