The opening scene uses a wide shot to show a mysterious figure standing under a tree during a thunderstorm, establishing an ominous tone. A mid-shot then reveals the figure is a girl dressed entirely in black with her face hidden, conveying she is unknown and potentially dangerous. 2. The opening scene uses a wide angle shot to show a figure of a person standing
onto of a hill underneath a tree. This shot is very dark as you are unable to see the
any detail of the person or the tree. Everything in the shot has a shadow look to it.
The sound used within this shot it the roar of thunder giving off the impression that
the figure of a person is either in danger or dangerous.

3. Another shot is then taken of a mid-shot of the figure, however in this shot we are
able to identify that the figure is a girl. She is dressed in all black with her long
dark hair brushed across her face so the audience are only able to see very small
pieces of her face. This tells the audience that the girl is unknown and a mystery.
This can connote that the girl could be dangerous or cause some kind of disaster.

4. After that shot the boy who is doing a voice over walks towards the figure in the
distance using a wide angle shot. After this shot several other shots are used however
they are used within a montage. These shots are of a girl dressed in old clothing
fashioned clothing which is made of an expensive material with her hair tied back
nicely this stereotypically shows her of a higher class. There are close up shots of their
lips showing the relationship between the two characters. Over the top of this there is a
soundtrack which is of a very quick tempo this implies that everything is happening so
fast to make sense of it.

6. Throughout the montage it continuously flashes back to the boy walking towards
the girl in the distance which is also shown with a wide angle shot. the scene then
ends with a mid-shot of the boy showing his confusion towards the girl as he is
unable to tell who she is.
