Job Profile: Employed in Empower Contracting as Site Electrical Engineer and my responsibilities where:
Recognize Electrical Works from the 1st fix stage to the final fix, including but not limited to the
followings:
‐ First fix of the Slab and Foundation Works, including installations of sleeves of the Builders
Works, as well preparing all requirements for Lightning and Earthing Protections
‐ Supervised installation of all First Fix and Second Fix Works related items
‐ Installation of Lighting and Power Systems as well Cables Installations and Pulling
‐ Perform Tests to confirm the validity of the installations, like Continuity and Insulations Testing
‐ Panels installations, Cable and Wiring Terminations, starting from MDBs to the Branch Panels,
along with all different types of Control Panels , MCCs and VFDs
‐ Wiring Devices and Lighting Fixtures installations and Termination
‐ Installation of the required BMS works to operate via DDC panels for electrical and mechanical
equipment
‐ As‐Built Drawings for all finished and approved works as well as for Electrical and Control
Panels
2. Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Systems, including but not limited to the following:
‐ MDBs and its Electrical and Mechanical interlocks between its compartments and the Bus Coupler
‐ ATS and their Sequence of operation with the Generators, according to their steps of priority
‐ Commissioning of different HVAC equipments (AHUs‐Pumps‐Exhaust Fans‐Smoke Extraction
Fans….) together with BMS department, like Fire Scenarios and other interlocks and Dry Contacts.
‐ Lux, Polarity, and Earthing Resistance Tests
Supervision Engineer for more than 12 Buildings in KSAU‐HS for the following systems:
1‐ Lighting Control System: EIB‐KNX and Conventional systems (Legrand and Leviton)
2‐ Emergency Central Battery System (ECB): CEAG‐Cooper
3‐ Fabrication, Modification, Troubleshooting of Electrical Panels and Motor Control Centers
(Fabricated more than 6 different types of Control Panels)
Raise Requests For Inspections & Requests For Testing and ensure a smooth handover of the
projects at hand
At all times, keep the client update about the progress of site work and there by ensure customer

Derating factor calculation for all cable routing paths using IEC and cable manufacturers
standards to insure installations are efficient and safe
Reviewing electrical design specifications and designed drawings for preparing shop drawings
Preparing Shop Drawings for Lighting, Power, Cable Routing, Earthing and Lightining protection,
Panel Boards Schedules, and Single Line Diagrams
Preparing Builders Works
Prepare materials take off and give the technical support for the material engineers during the
procurement phase
Carry out BOQ for all electrical systems
Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentation to managers
Coordinating with different suppliers, client representatives, electromechanical & civil teams
Preparing separate shop drawings for the Lighting Control systems, the conventional type and
the KNX/EIB showing all details and interfaces used with their Single Line Diagrams, likewise for
the Central Battery System
