  2. 2. Sleep Cycle Apps • Sleep is when your brain recharges to enable it to think effectively • The last REM early in the morning is when your memory is filed into long term memory. This is also when you dream. • Reviewing your notes just before you go to bed and again in the morning may help you remember more effectively. • An interesting App, measures your deep and shallow sleep and allows you to set an alarm to wake you up at the optimum time so you have the best chance of feeling alert.

How well you understood the concepts being taught in class 3. How well you have completed homework and assignments along the way 4. How well you have kept and organised notes for that topic or subject 5. Whether you have made study notes or summaries for that topic 6. Whether you looked over your notes soon after class

Flexible approach! • GET INTO A ROUTINE! • Work in half hour blocks • Set priorities at the beginning of the night– homework, assignments, memorising • Try to work at the same time each day. Can be difficult because of different sport and other commitments. • Finish all homework before watching TV, social media, phones i.e. work before fun
