This document is an editor's letter introducing the spring 2015 issue of PsychOut magazine. It discusses several articles in the issue, including pieces on the psychology of love, the dark side of love, and new research on how to fall in love. It thanks contributors to articles on face perception and psychological warfare. The letter promotes joining the magazine staff and provides contact details for the editor and issue contributors.
2. Not only are we looking at the light
hearted implications of love and
attraction, but our contributors
have also delved into the dark side
of love, discussing the extremes of
how far some people go for lust and
‘affection’.
We’ve also taken a look at a new
psychological take on the best ways
to fall in love (as George Robinson
explores on page 4) – move over
Tinder, the world of psychology has it
down to a tee.
A huge thank you goes out to Dr.
Regine Armann and Dr. David
Robertson, who have given us an
insight into their cutting edge
research into face perception,
happening right here on our
doorstep in York.
And, as always, thank you for
taking the time to read this issue of
PsychOut… it must be love, right?
Happy reading!
Welcome to another issue
of PsychOut where this
term we are bringing you
the psychology behind
love.
