Reflecting on My English 101 Experience I used to consider writing as tumble words from your mind, write, read it through, fix minor mistakes, and
done. However, you rarely get successful. The truth is many students, including myself, struggle with starting to write a word, or getting stuck in the

I Believe In Hope

For me, learning a language is a complicated process. It is different from learning other subjects. It involves a lot of practices and follow up. When I
talk about my personal experience, I would say that I have a rich experience in learning English as a second language. English was taught to me for

It's hard to believe that it's already time for Midterms in my English 101 class. The adventure has been a lot easier than I at first anticipated. In any
case, I am happy that I am taking the class and learning from it. In the beginning it appeared somewhat hard however I was resolved to compel my
way through this class regardless of what difficulties I needed to persevere.
On the first day of my English 101 class I was apprehensive, I had no clue what's in store from the class. As I discovered what the class would have

What is Hope?
What is hope? Merriam–Webster Dictionary gives the word multiple definitions from; to cherish a desire with anticipation, to expect with confidence,
or the feeling of wanting something to happen and thinking that could happen. To me hope has a very simple meaning as well as represents a very
simple thing that all humans are capable of. To me hope means and is desire. Regardless of whether it is seen as a noun, verb, or concept, that very
definition and understanding is universal throughout. Anyone and everyone is capable of desire, therefore no one can really be immune from
feeling hope. To say such would also mean that everyone is susceptible to despair, which is known and defined as "a state in which there is an absence
or loss of hope". However despite the very thin line that divides the two, we as a people choose to believe in hope, holding it at such high esteemed
standards. Personally I never believed in hope, as I saw it as a double–edged sword that society fell upon time and time again over the centuries.
However over the course of the semester as we explored tragedy after tragedy, as well as tried to grab an understanding of what is true evil and
suffering, we never failed to (especially towards the end of the semester) find the bright end at the end of the tunnel that represented hope. That in

The Best Advice Ever Given In life there are many challenges that may either make or break a person. The journey to overcome these challenges

Report On The English Week Programme In SMK Alam Shah English Week was an opportunity for students to show everyone their appreciation
and ability at English. In SMK Alam Shah, the English Week was carried out from 18 April until 22 April 2011. The programme was organized by
the English Language Society. With the slogan "I Love English", this programme was aimed to encourage all pupils to use English Language as a
medium of interaction with their friends and teachers. Various activities were arranged during the week and opened to all students. The activities were

Upon entering English 111 on–line class, I had not taken an English class on–line before. In the past I have taken several other basic classes. English
has always been a struggle for me, mainly writing and grammar. Neither, writing or grammar has come natural to me. The biggest challenge for me is

Currently I am employed full time, and also hold a part time position along with being a wife, and mother of two children. By furthering my education, I
