Special Education Personal Statement Essay
National Louis University's M.A.T in Special Education would provide the foundation to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a Special Education
teacher. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Child Studies, with an emphasis in Family Social Services. My undergraduate degree presented an
amazing internship opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. I was fortunate to intern at Liberty Center for Language andLearning, working with children who
have Autism and other developmental disabilities. Upon completing my internship, I was inspired to continue my education and a career in a field for
which I am passionate about. My job as a teacher assistant has been instrumental in providing hands–on experience in a high school special education
setting.

Special Education Personal Statement
Personal Statement "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." – Henry B. Adams. For as long as I can remember, I have
always wanted to play a big part in children's education, which is why I have decided to enroll for an education course. I believe that educators have a
lifelong impact on their students and on the development of resilience. Thus, I aspire to inculcate my love for learning into the next generation, by
influencing and inspiring children all through their formal education.
I have distinctly applied for Special Needs Education because special education has always been what's near and dear to me in the field of education.
Being a special education teacher would be an inevitably rewarding job, in which I get to watch my students grow, as I celebrate their small
breakthroughs and victories with them. These small breakthroughs and victories will improve over time and turn into giant leaps, which will leave a
lasting impact and ultimately change the child's life. Beyond just educating children with special needs, I aspire to educate the public about children
with special needs and special education. By doing so, I hope to remove any uncertainty and fear the public has on this group of children. Not only do

I was exposed to a complete range of early childhood studies, all of which solidified my ardent interest in the field. I also had the opportunity to
study a handful of art and humanities subjects, which have given me a fresh perspective on the world we reside in. By the same token, I will be able
to apply the knowledge gained from my ICT and Multimedia subject in creating a state–of–the–art medium apt for young children in this era of

What is a Person? Essay
What is a Person?
What am I? On the surface, this question seems so ridiculously simple that one may feel that it is unnecessary to even supply a verbal answer. I am,
obviously, a human being, a person. However, when using this label "person" to describe myself, I am hurling myself into one of philosophy's most
heavily debated topics since the existence of mankind. The primary task when dealing philosophically with person, or "self", is to clarify what exactly
the term embodies and represents. As Taylor said, "Selves are, indeed, about the strangest inhabitants of nature that once can imagine—except
that, as sometimes described in philosophy, they are not even imaginable in the first place." Most people harbor no doubt...show more content...
Whether or not my conclusion will echo that of a materialist, mentalist, or something different altogether remains to be seen. As I initially ask myself to
define my personage, the phrase "I think, therefore I am" pops unsolicited into my mind. Descartes, an obvious mentalist, had a point when he muttered
these now–famous words. Indeed, a person is inarguably a thinking thing. If I were not, tasks like writing this paper would be irrelevant, not to
mention far less painstaking. The mind and its processes are indubitably things that make up what I consider my self. My mind is the machine that
produces my thoughts and ideas, and it houses the knowledge that allows me to reason logically, a characteristic that sets human beings apart from
other forms of life. I certainly don't think of a tree or a rock as a person, and that is because these objects show no signs of mental activity. The day
that I see a tree with a calculus book hanging from its branches computing the value of an integral is the day that I check myself into an asylum.
However, the power of my mind allows ME to solve that integral, and when I do, I am proud of mySELF. The actions of my mind define not only
how I view my own person, but also how others view me as a person. With this thought, my mind is intruded upon by another thought: other people
aren't seeing my MIND—they're seeing and reacting to my physical

My personal philosophy of special education drives not from teaching in the field, but from, observations, and personal experience, and the workshops
I attended. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals with special needs in many different settings, all this help cultivate my knowledge in
handling the needs of the special needed student. Special needs students have the ability to learn, to function, to grow, and most importantly to
succeed. The difference comes into how they learn or how they need to be taught. There are as many beliefs about the "hows" as there are teachers
and each of us forms our own philosophy through our experiences and research. As a student in a special education teachers' program, learners with

There should also be hands–on time to include this strength, using magnet boards or sentence strips. Students with learning disabilities do have the
ability to overcome the disability; it is just a matter of building on strengths and finding new ways that work for the student to learn. It is not that
students with learning disabilities have something wrong with them, they only learn in a different way. In fact, all students learn differently and
focusing on each student's strengths would benefit them greatly in their education. As teachers, we should apply methods we use in Special Education
to all students. For instance, using accommodations such as graphic organizers or flexible means of presentation helps all students excel. The graphic
organizers assist with students' overall understanding and attention during the lessons. The flexible means of presentation such as lecture, group work,
and hands on work allows all students to learn the material as they each have a different primary mode of learning visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and
tactile. As an educator, it is my job to find new ways for my students to learn that coincides with their particular learning style and takes advantage of
their strengths. In all practical terms, this will mean finding new ways for each of my students to learn in their own particular way. As a whole, my
students will need more reason to learn with authentic experiences, hands–on

What Makes A Person Beautiful?
There are many ways to define beauty, but I feel like society plays a huge role in how beauty is portrayed to women. I believe that society focuses
more on what a person looks like than what they actually do for society. What makes someone beautiful is what they have on the inside and who they
are. Qualities that beautiful people have are: kindness, honesty, respect, confidence, generosity, positivity, and willingness to help others when they are
in need. Society diminishes this ideal by telling people what is and what is not beautiful. What should make a person beautiful is how they treat people,
their poise, and how they give back to the community.
I feel as though what society puts in the media makes people feel undesirable; as though they are not accepted in society for meeting the expectations
society puts in the media. People such as BeyoncГ©, or Michelle Obama are viewed as "beautiful" in the American society. Society thinks women
should be skinny, with a perfect smile, tall, long hair, with large assets. Society shouldn 't only focus on how a person looks, but on the character of that
person, and how they treat others within their family or community. BeyoncГ© stated; "We all have our imperfections. But I 'm human, and you know,
it 's important to concentrate on other qualities besides outer beauty." I feel as though what BeyoncГ© stated here is that there is so much more to a
person than what they look like. Their contributions, personality, and how they make people

Being A Special Education Teacher Essay
When people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I never considered being a special education teacher. I thought I would be a
lawyer, a doctor, a WNBA star, or even a Crime Scene Investigator. Never did I think one senior internship and one college course would make all that
change for me. I graduated from a small private school in Martinsville, Va. During our senior seminar class, students were asked to intern at a job of
their choice for one month. In order to complete the internship, you had to find your own placement. I originally thought I wanted intern at the hospital
in the forensic science lab but that didn't work out. My second option was to intern with my 5th grade teacher at my old elementary school. While at
this placement, I was able to work with students in small groups, work with students with disabilities, and experience some of the behind–the–scenes
components of teaching. The positive experience I had working with her 5th grade class changed my career focus to teaching.
I attended college at Virginia State University. When I first enrolled, my major was Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in elementaryeducation. One
of the major's requirements was to take a course in Introduction to Special Education. While talking this course, I was sent to observe and help out an
inner–city, Title 1 alternative school in Hopewell, Va. This alternative school mainly took in students who were expelled from their base school due to
drugs, violence,

A Memorable Person
What makes someone special, important, and memorable is judged by people differently. In my personal opinion, what makes a person
memorable is how he or she has impacted your life, for better or for worse. I decided to deviate from the obvious choice of a dear family member
or an especially great teacher, instead, choosing someone in my life whose impact has been recent. My friend Oniqa Urmi. Oniqa enriches the
lives of those around her, understands people where others fail to, and is unforgettable to anyone who has the privilege to know her. To begin, I
met Oniqa about 5 years ago during my freshman year of high school. It was our first class of Physical Education in the gym playing volleyball.
After some instructions from our teacher broke the class up into partners, and surprise my partner was Oniqa. Both of us were extremely shy, quiet,
and didn't talk much during the 45 minutes we spent hitting a ball back and forth. Luckily our friendship didn't with second period PE. With time
we became good friends. In reality, the first day we met wasn't the start to the typical friendship. Looking back, we were an unlikely pairing that
without realizing it had many similarities and experiences. Despite our somewhat awkward first encounter, the following years spent getting to know
each other better I learned she was a lot more than a shy girl in my PE class. As mentioned above, I chose Oniqa as my interviewee because of the
impact she has had on my life in the time I have

Special Education Personal Statement
When I receive my bachelor's degree in Special Education, I want to teach in elementary schools. I feel as though if you can start teaching the students
in an inclusive classroom at a young age, everyone around will understand them more. I believe that if you can get the non–disabled kids to understand
that the only thing that makes the disabled kids different from them is their disability, then they will start to associate with one another while their
young. By them doing this, they are slowly becoming friends. Getting them to become friends at a young age is really important because it will limit
the idea of the child that has a disability being bullied or teased by an individual that does not have a disability because he/she will understand them.

As I look back, I would have been just another statistic in my, if it had not been for the University of West Alabama Upward Bound. This program
educated me about college and how to get funds attend. It also challenged me to be more than average and I accepted that challenge. However,
everyone is not fortunate to get accepted into this program, so a lot of smart kids miss out on their chance to go to college due to lack of
knowledge about it. When I get the chance to be a principal in a rural area, the first thing I will do is create programs that educate children about
college the time they enter high school to the time they finish, so they will have an idea of what they need to be doing so that are eligible to go to
college. If I am awarded this scholarship, I will use it to buy my diabetic supplies and medicine. I just recently found out that I was a diabetic my
freshman year of college and it has been a bit of a struggle trying to keep it under control and manage my school work all together. However, I've
made it this far and I'm going to striving until I reach the finish

Characteristics Of A Special Person
In today's society, everyone is different from one another, and no one is the same. Each of the people is made of different characteristics which are
to why makes them the special person. Characteristics play a role in this special person, and it defines accurately aspects of personality. After pay
attention to the people surrounding me: intelligence, responsible, and reliable are the most important people to be around with. Firstly, people will
always remember the intelligence people and will never forget them. Intelligence people are the type that can control their own emotion and always out
there solving problems or discover new things. For example, Steve Jobs, the co–founders of Apple Company, was known as a hero to many people.
Even though he passed away, he had influenced many people during the time that he still alive and they still remember him till this day because of
his intelligence. He was a dropped out college student who was a millionaire by the age of 25. In addition, an intelligence person knows how to
balance their work times and family times Sometimes people get carry away with their works, and they forget to spend time with their loved ones.
Whereas an intelligence person, they will find effective time to spare for their family. For example, my dad is a busy man. He works every day from
5 am to 3 pm and sometimes he work on the weekend too. Despite his busy work schedule, he still manages to balance his time to be with us. Often

Personal Statement On Special Needs Children
"The only real failure in life is not to be true to the best one knows.", Buddha
To understand why I have the desire to work with special needs children is also to understand how I came to this crossroad, and with much hesitation
reached this conclusion of my life's purpose.
During my last thirty years of my working life, I have only spent the last nine in education. I spent most of this time working in the oil field, traveling
and living life as a "company man". It was a divorce that shined a light on the possibilities of a career in education. I was now a single father with a
three–year old little girl. I could no longer dedicate myself to call hours, weekend commitments, and travel demands of the oil industry. I took my first
teaching job working in a private Christian school in Katy, Texas. There I developed and taught a new Computer Literature curriculum. With a bachelor
of science degree in Information Technology and Networking Management I attend an alternative certification program to teach in the public sector. I
took my first public teaching job at an alternative school call Compass, teaching eighth grade math. To say that I went into education heads first with
this school is an understatement. Compass is a transition school for kids either coming from or the last chance before a child detention center. I was
able to interact with many students having ADHD and/or behavior problems. There were times when my entire class had a BIP, IEP or both. The
processes,

I analyze others who don't care about their mothers. They treat their mothers like their servants. Sons and daughters order them, make them do work
and in return give them nothing not even respect which is of no cost. This is against human values. She faces several troubles and she bears too much

Personal Statement For Special Education
My name is Alyssa Fusco and I am on the path to becoming a special education teacher. In the course of my first few weeks in the Special Education
course, I am not only learning how to be a better teacher, but training my mind in such a way that I can improve the lives of others. My interest in
working with students with disabilities stems from my experience with Senior Experience at Calhoun High School. This program has developed a
framework for my future career aspirations by observing how not only the faculty can make a difference in these students lives, but also the teachers
facilitate an environment that promotes the integration between students with and without disabilities. Through mainstreaming these students, Calhoun
High School showed me what type of difference I could make in the world through combining my passion for teaching and the place students with
disabilities hold in my heart. In this film Unforgotten: 25 Years After Willow brook we meet several people that have a family member whom is

What Is A Special Day Essay
Most people remember one day that was special. Think about a special day you have had and write an essay explaining why that day was so special.
Special days are the ones that you spend with your mom, your dad, or your grandparents. Special days are when you have fun. In the Spring Break
that has passed, I went to visit my step–mom, my step–brothers, and my dad in Houston with some of my grandparents, my cousins, and my aunt. After
some days had past, more of my family came. Houston is a big city, and there are a lot of things that you can do. The first thing that you see when

We saw people getting off; we thought that we did not have to get off because the ride went in two directions. My cousins and I thought that we

So that each person has a purpose to fulfill their life to fullest, when people have children they know that one day their child can make a difference in
the world.
Having children makes two people realize how wonderful life is and how blessed they are to be able to make a human being that will forever be
theirs. Two people became one because of the birth of their child. They knew their life purpose as a married couple was to produce children because
God has said they are a gift from him that he bestows on married couples. We should cherish children and encourage them to the best they can be.
Before children we were nothing and now since a man and a woman have given birth to a child they now have a purpose in life to be the best mother
and father that they can be.
One of the passages that I thought went with my Gaudium et Spes was in Genesis 1:27–28 " God created man in his own image, in the image of God
he created him; male and female created them. And God blessed them and said "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have
dominion over the fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth." (Bible pg 13)This goes with saying

Special Education Personal Statement Essay

  • 1. Special Education Personal Statement Essay National Louis University's M.A.T in Special Education would provide the foundation to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a Special Education teacher. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Child Studies, with an emphasis in Family Social Services. My undergraduate degree presented an amazing internship opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. I was fortunate to intern at Liberty Center for Language andLearning, working with children who have Autism and other developmental disabilities. Upon completing my internship, I was inspired to continue my education and a career in a field for which I am passionate about. My job as a teacher assistant has been instrumental in providing hands–on experience in a high school special education setting. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Special Education Personal Statement Personal Statement "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." – Henry B. Adams. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to play a big part in children's education, which is why I have decided to enroll for an education course. I believe that educators have a lifelong impact on their students and on the development of resilience. Thus, I aspire to inculcate my love for learning into the next generation, by influencing and inspiring children all through their formal education. I have distinctly applied for Special Needs Education because special education has always been what's near and dear to me in the field of education. Being a special education teacher would be an inevitably rewarding job, in which I get to watch my students grow, as I celebrate their small breakthroughs and victories with them. These small breakthroughs and victories will improve over time and turn into giant leaps, which will leave a lasting impact and ultimately change the child's life. Beyond just educating children with special needs, I aspire to educate the public about children with special needs and special education. By doing so, I hope to remove any uncertainty and fear the public has on this group of children. Not only do I want to impart knowledge on these special children, I also want to advocate for them, which is something that goes...show more content... I was exposed to a complete range of early childhood studies, all of which solidified my ardent interest in the field. I also had the opportunity to study a handful of art and humanities subjects, which have given me a fresh perspective on the world we reside in. By the same token, I will be able to apply the knowledge gained from my ICT and Multimedia subject in creating a state–of–the–art medium apt for young children in this era of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Personal Narrative: My Special Object My Special Object Omg what if you could talk to everyone with just one object. That would be heaven wouldn't it well guess what. You can isn't that awesome and all you gotta do is one thing or a couple. So if you would like to talk to everyone with just one thing do what i say. Well first ask your parents or if you're an adult take your car and go to the store and go ask where are your wifi boxes and of course do not go to a grocery store go to a store like walmart or something like that and ask them where their wifi boxes are and they will tell you it really doesn't matter what one you get then you check out buy it and then go home and find a spot where you wanna put it and then put it there and then put it there and if you can't figure out Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. What is a Person? Essay What is a Person? What am I? On the surface, this question seems so ridiculously simple that one may feel that it is unnecessary to even supply a verbal answer. I am, obviously, a human being, a person. However, when using this label "person" to describe myself, I am hurling myself into one of philosophy's most heavily debated topics since the existence of mankind. The primary task when dealing philosophically with person, or "self", is to clarify what exactly the term embodies and represents. As Taylor said, "Selves are, indeed, about the strangest inhabitants of nature that once can imagine—except that, as sometimes described in philosophy, they are not even imaginable in the first place." Most people harbor no doubt...show more content... Whether or not my conclusion will echo that of a materialist, mentalist, or something different altogether remains to be seen. As I initially ask myself to define my personage, the phrase "I think, therefore I am" pops unsolicited into my mind. Descartes, an obvious mentalist, had a point when he muttered these now–famous words. Indeed, a person is inarguably a thinking thing. If I were not, tasks like writing this paper would be irrelevant, not to mention far less painstaking. The mind and its processes are indubitably things that make up what I consider my self. My mind is the machine that produces my thoughts and ideas, and it houses the knowledge that allows me to reason logically, a characteristic that sets human beings apart from other forms of life. I certainly don't think of a tree or a rock as a person, and that is because these objects show no signs of mental activity. The day that I see a tree with a calculus book hanging from its branches computing the value of an integral is the day that I check myself into an asylum. However, the power of my mind allows ME to solve that integral, and when I do, I am proud of mySELF. The actions of my mind define not only how I view my own person, but also how others view me as a person. With this thought, my mind is intruded upon by another thought: other people aren't seeing my MIND—they're seeing and reacting to my physical Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My personal philosophy of special education drives not from teaching in the field, but from, observations, and personal experience, and the workshops I attended. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals with special needs in many different settings, all this help cultivate my knowledge in handling the needs of the special needed student. Special needs students have the ability to learn, to function, to grow, and most importantly to succeed. The difference comes into how they learn or how they need to be taught. There are as many beliefs about the "hows" as there are teachers and each of us forms our own philosophy through our experiences and research. As a student in a special education teachers' program, learners with ...show more content... There should also be hands–on time to include this strength, using magnet boards or sentence strips. Students with learning disabilities do have the ability to overcome the disability; it is just a matter of building on strengths and finding new ways that work for the student to learn. It is not that students with learning disabilities have something wrong with them, they only learn in a different way. In fact, all students learn differently and focusing on each student's strengths would benefit them greatly in their education. As teachers, we should apply methods we use in Special Education to all students. For instance, using accommodations such as graphic organizers or flexible means of presentation helps all students excel. The graphic organizers assist with students' overall understanding and attention during the lessons. The flexible means of presentation such as lecture, group work, and hands on work allows all students to learn the material as they each have a different primary mode of learning visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile. As an educator, it is my job to find new ways for my students to learn that coincides with their particular learning style and takes advantage of their strengths. In all practical terms, this will mean finding new ways for each of my students to learn in their own particular way. As a whole, my students will need more reason to learn with authentic experiences, hands–on Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. What Makes A Person Beautiful? There are many ways to define beauty, but I feel like society plays a huge role in how beauty is portrayed to women. I believe that society focuses more on what a person looks like than what they actually do for society. What makes someone beautiful is what they have on the inside and who they are. Qualities that beautiful people have are: kindness, honesty, respect, confidence, generosity, positivity, and willingness to help others when they are in need. Society diminishes this ideal by telling people what is and what is not beautiful. What should make a person beautiful is how they treat people, their poise, and how they give back to the community. I feel as though what society puts in the media makes people feel undesirable; as though they are not accepted in society for meeting the expectations society puts in the media. People such as BeyoncГ©, or Michelle Obama are viewed as "beautiful" in the American society. Society thinks women should be skinny, with a perfect smile, tall, long hair, with large assets. Society shouldn 't only focus on how a person looks, but on the character of that person, and how they treat others within their family or community. BeyoncГ© stated; "We all have our imperfections. But I 'm human, and you know, it 's important to concentrate on other qualities besides outer beauty." I feel as though what BeyoncГ© stated here is that there is so much more to a person than what they look like. Their contributions, personality, and how they make people Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 9. Being A Special Education Teacher Essay When people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I never considered being a special education teacher. I thought I would be a lawyer, a doctor, a WNBA star, or even a Crime Scene Investigator. Never did I think one senior internship and one college course would make all that change for me. I graduated from a small private school in Martinsville, Va. During our senior seminar class, students were asked to intern at a job of their choice for one month. In order to complete the internship, you had to find your own placement. I originally thought I wanted intern at the hospital in the forensic science lab but that didn't work out. My second option was to intern with my 5th grade teacher at my old elementary school. While at this placement, I was able to work with students in small groups, work with students with disabilities, and experience some of the behind–the–scenes components of teaching. The positive experience I had working with her 5th grade class changed my career focus to teaching. I attended college at Virginia State University. When I first enrolled, my major was Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in elementaryeducation. One of the major's requirements was to take a course in Introduction to Special Education. While talking this course, I was sent to observe and help out an inner–city, Title 1 alternative school in Hopewell, Va. This alternative school mainly took in students who were expelled from their base school due to drugs, violence, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. A Memorable Person What makes someone special, important, and memorable is judged by people differently. In my personal opinion, what makes a person memorable is how he or she has impacted your life, for better or for worse. I decided to deviate from the obvious choice of a dear family member or an especially great teacher, instead, choosing someone in my life whose impact has been recent. My friend Oniqa Urmi. Oniqa enriches the lives of those around her, understands people where others fail to, and is unforgettable to anyone who has the privilege to know her. To begin, I met Oniqa about 5 years ago during my freshman year of high school. It was our first class of Physical Education in the gym playing volleyball. After some instructions from our teacher broke the class up into partners, and surprise my partner was Oniqa. Both of us were extremely shy, quiet, and didn't talk much during the 45 minutes we spent hitting a ball back and forth. Luckily our friendship didn't with second period PE. With time we became good friends. In reality, the first day we met wasn't the start to the typical friendship. Looking back, we were an unlikely pairing that without realizing it had many similarities and experiences. Despite our somewhat awkward first encounter, the following years spent getting to know each other better I learned she was a lot more than a shy girl in my PE class. As mentioned above, I chose Oniqa as my interviewee because of the impact she has had on my life in the time I have Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Special Education Personal Statement When I receive my bachelor's degree in Special Education, I want to teach in elementary schools. I feel as though if you can start teaching the students in an inclusive classroom at a young age, everyone around will understand them more. I believe that if you can get the non–disabled kids to understand that the only thing that makes the disabled kids different from them is their disability, then they will start to associate with one another while their young. By them doing this, they are slowly becoming friends. Getting them to become friends at a young age is really important because it will limit the idea of the child that has a disability being bullied or teased by an individual that does not have a disability because he/she will understand them. While I...show more content... As I look back, I would have been just another statistic in my, if it had not been for the University of West Alabama Upward Bound. This program educated me about college and how to get funds attend. It also challenged me to be more than average and I accepted that challenge. However, everyone is not fortunate to get accepted into this program, so a lot of smart kids miss out on their chance to go to college due to lack of knowledge about it. When I get the chance to be a principal in a rural area, the first thing I will do is create programs that educate children about college the time they enter high school to the time they finish, so they will have an idea of what they need to be doing so that are eligible to go to college. If I am awarded this scholarship, I will use it to buy my diabetic supplies and medicine. I just recently found out that I was a diabetic my freshman year of college and it has been a bit of a struggle trying to keep it under control and manage my school work all together. However, I've made it this far and I'm going to striving until I reach the finish Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Characteristics Of A Special Person In today's society, everyone is different from one another, and no one is the same. Each of the people is made of different characteristics which are to why makes them the special person. Characteristics play a role in this special person, and it defines accurately aspects of personality. After pay attention to the people surrounding me: intelligence, responsible, and reliable are the most important people to be around with. Firstly, people will always remember the intelligence people and will never forget them. Intelligence people are the type that can control their own emotion and always out there solving problems or discover new things. For example, Steve Jobs, the co–founders of Apple Company, was known as a hero to many people. Even though he passed away, he had influenced many people during the time that he still alive and they still remember him till this day because of his intelligence. He was a dropped out college student who was a millionaire by the age of 25. In addition, an intelligence person knows how to balance their work times and family times Sometimes people get carry away with their works, and they forget to spend time with their loved ones. Whereas an intelligence person, they will find effective time to spare for their family. For example, my dad is a busy man. He works every day from 5 am to 3 pm and sometimes he work on the weekend too. Despite his busy work schedule, he still manages to balance his time to be with us. • 13. Personal Statement On Special Needs Children "The only real failure in life is not to be true to the best one knows.", Buddha To understand why I have the desire to work with special needs children is also to understand how I came to this crossroad, and with much hesitation reached this conclusion of my life's purpose. During my last thirty years of my working life, I have only spent the last nine in education. I spent most of this time working in the oil field, traveling and living life as a "company man". It was a divorce that shined a light on the possibilities of a career in education. I was now a single father with a three–year old little girl. I could no longer dedicate myself to call hours, weekend commitments, and travel demands of the oil industry. I took my first teaching job working in a private Christian school in Katy, Texas. There I developed and taught a new Computer Literature curriculum. With a bachelor of science degree in Information Technology and Networking Management I attend an alternative certification program to teach in the public sector. I took my first public teaching job at an alternative school call Compass, teaching eighth grade math. To say that I went into education heads first with this school is an understatement. Compass is a transition school for kids either coming from or the last chance before a child detention center. I was able to interact with many students having ADHD and/or behavior problems. There were times when my entire class had a BIP, IEP or both. The processes, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

It is full of surprises and problems. Our job is to understand the surprises and to solve the problems in the way which makes us feel happier. All of us, common or special, have some sort of inspiration and encouragement in our lives. Many personalities walk in and out of our lives every day but only a few make a lasting impression on us. Sons and daughters order them, make them do work and in return give them nothing not even respect which is of no cost. This is against human values. What Is A Special Person Essay Amazing, beautiful, supportive, loving, and trustworthy–– I could go on and on, but these are all words that describe one extraordinary person, my mom, Alanna Rawson. I have lived 14 great years because of one person, my life giver. I finally get to tell a story about my best friend, my amazing teacher, and the special women who loves me more than I could ever imagine. Kids aren't typically very close with their mom; like most, I wasn't close with my mom either when I was young. Throughout my middle school years I started to get closer and closer with my mom; although, middle school was so hard for me with all the ridiculous drama, awful rumors, and fake friends, I learned so much. Through all those situations, whether they were good or bad, she taught to be kind no matter what because people never know what others are going through. Also always to do the right thing, it's simple, but it's true, and to love unconditionally because people don't know when they are going to lose something they really care about. Ever since my relationship with my mom has grown I...show more content... I have the most loving mom anyone could ever ask for. She felt so bad about it, she was sad for weeks! If that doesn't show how much she cares, I don't know what would. Through that whole situation she was my greatest supporter. • 17. Personal Statement For Special Education My name is Alyssa Fusco and I am on the path to becoming a special education teacher. In the course of my first few weeks in the Special Education course, I am not only learning how to be a better teacher, but training my mind in such a way that I can improve the lives of others. My interest in working with students with disabilities stems from my experience with Senior Experience at Calhoun High School. This program has developed a framework for my future career aspirations by observing how not only the faculty can make a difference in these students lives, but also the teachers facilitate an environment that promotes the integration between students with and without disabilities. Through mainstreaming these students, Calhoun High School showed me what type of difference I could make in the world through combining my passion for teaching and the place students with disabilities hold in my heart. In this film Unforgotten: 25 Years After Willow brook we meet several people that have a family member whom is disabled and they share with us moving heartwarming stories of the pain having to give up members of their families to certain facilities because that was what all the experts would recommend at that time. Doctors as well as other family members would all encourage the parents of a child who is developmentally disabled to put the child into an institution and to just leave them there as if they mean nothing to them. There's even a story of a man who told his family that the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Most teenagers don't really think about their plans after high school. For some, they just procrastinate and talk about what they want to do but they put little to no effort in it. It is very important to have a plan or at least an outline of what you want to do. Having a plan helps you put the necessary steps in place to ensure success after high–school, whether you plan on going to college or just working. In ten years I see myself entering my career as a special education teacher. I feel that it takes a special kind of love to care for special needs kids and I feel like I have exactly that. I want to work one on one with special needs kids and especially those kids who haven't been exposed to the proper care and education that their condition...show more content... I see myself not worrying about bills or money as I have seen before. I want to be able to get up and go as please without being restricted by a boundary, whether that boundary is emotional or mental. I also see myself in the next 10 years getting closer relationship to family members and other loved ones around me. I realize in order for me to be where I see myself in ten years, I have to stay focus and on track. A few problems I might face while trying to achieve my goals are; the hardships in college, finding a job, and just staying encourage during the entire process. Just like Berry, school really isn't my strong suit so attending college and staying will be a challenge for me. Also working a full time job to support myself through college will also be an equally hard challenge. I plan to tackle these challenges by staying close to my family and making sure I stay on top of my classes/ work. My plan consists of me maintaining a suitable gpa, taking the ACT, enrolling into college, and being successful and on track while in college. I also want to acquire a well–paying job so I will be able to support myself while in college and pursing further education. Being able to support myself without the help of my parents is of the upmost importance to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. What Is A Special Day Essay Most people remember one day that was special. Think about a special day you have had and write an essay explaining why that day was so special. Special days are the ones that you spend with your mom, your dad, or your grandparents. Special days are when you have fun. In the Spring Break that has passed, I went to visit my step–mom, my step–brothers, and my dad in Houston with some of my grandparents, my cousins, and my aunt. After some days had past, more of my family came. Houston is a big city, and there are a lot of things that you can do. The first thing that you see when you are getting to the city are buildings. There is always a lot of traffic everywhere you go. To start off, we got to the rodeo, and we had to walk a little bit....show more content... The ride goes really high, and when a person is on, they can see the whole place where the rides are. I was on the right side, Victoria was in the middle, and my other cousin named Allison was on the left side. The ride was almost over, and we were already getting close to the end. We saw people getting off; we thought that we did not have to get off because the ride went in two directions. My cousins and I thought that we would go the two directions only paying once. If a person wanted to go another time, they had to pay twice. Once it was time for us to get off, we had to go back to where we had started. We got to the spot where we had started, and my uncle was there waiting for us. My cousins and I had to tell him that in order to go the other direction, we needed to have more money to pay. He told us that he knew because when he was waiting for us, he also saw people getting off from where we started. He also told us that when he saw those people getting off, he knew that to get on the other side, the people need to pay again. Before leaving my cousins and I stopped at a food stand. When I was there, I could see and smell all the food. My cousins and I got some spicy apples; when we got Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Good evening everyone, I am proud to be given the privilege to award this special person tonight for her outstanding endurance and perseverance through the year 2016–2017 and standing with dignity and pride for all the hard work she has done for humanity in her lifetime. This person deserves this award because they're the most hardworking and determined person that I have ever met. This person goes out of their way to help people even when she needs help herself, but still knows when she also needs time to focus on what she needs done. She is so spiritually in tune with life that any hard decision or roadblock that comes her way, doesn't phase her, because she knows that somehow, someway, it will work itself out. • 21. While reading I came across a passage From Gaudium et Spes chapter 1 number 48 that stated "the well being of the individual person and of human and Christian society is intimately linked with the healthy condition of that community produced by marriage." (Gaudium pg 49) I decided to choice this passage because I do believe strongly believe that God has put a special person on this earth for us to find and once we do we will become one in marriage for as long as they both shall live. God provides us with the desire and ability to seek out and find a partner and get married. He provides us with marriage as protection to us and a means to have a partner in this life journey as you strive in life together to attain heaven / paradise. As...show more content... So that each person has a purpose to fulfill their life to fullest, when people have children they know that one day their child can make a difference in the world. Having children makes two people realize how wonderful life is and how blessed they are to be able to make a human being that will forever be theirs. Two people became one because of the birth of their child. They knew their life purpose as a married couple was to produce children because God has said they are a gift from him that he bestows on married couples. We should cherish children and encourage them to the best they can be. Before children we were nothing and now since a man and a woman have given birth to a child they now have a purpose in life to be the best mother and father that they can be. One of the passages that I thought went with my Gaudium et Spes was in Genesis 1:27–28 " God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female created them. And God blessed them and said "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
