2. The Connection Between Contentment and
Good Health
Led by Pastor Henry Wright, Be in Health based in Georgia is a church ministering God’s Word to
people from all over the world. With a mission to establish generations of overcomers, Be in Health in
Georgia preaches the message of contentment.
3. The Connection Between Contentment and
Good Health
The Bible teaches about being content with what you have. In Hebrews 13:5, “Let your conversation
be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never
leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
4. The Connection Between Contentment and
Good Health
God has promised to be with His people and to never forsake them. Covetousness comes from not
trusting in God. It comes from doubt and disbelief in God, and it breeds envy and jealousy. To
overcome covetousness, you must put God first, for it is written in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
5. The Connection Between Contentment and
Good Health
Envy will not let you be at peace. Neither will jealousy and covetousness. They will push you away
from Godliness. In fact, they even compel you to compare yourself with others, clawing away your self-
esteem in the process. Contentment is the answer and that comes from trusting in God.
