25 of each year. The festivities for these are characterized by their parades in

Carnival
Carnival in Guayaquil is celebrated with a mass of the god Momo. This is
done on Sunday morning. At present they carry out parades with floats and

costume of Miss Ecuador.
October parties

plantains forming a kind of dough filled with Creole cheese or chorizo.

6. Clothing
In the province of Guayas, a regional dress is used for their traditional
acts or festivals in the province.
In this region it is common to observe the gentlemen wearing guayaberas,
they are dressed together with black pants and an elegant hat, a form of
tradition, particularly of those who live in Guayaquil.

7. Malecon 2000
Tourist spot
Located in front of the Guayas river. In 1996 the Malecón 2000 was
inaugurated, the municipality of Guayaquil began the urban generation
since 1999, culminating the work in 2000, with the mayor's office in charge
of Jaime Nebot; becoming a tourist icon of the city of Guayaquil.
