FarWork is a freelancing app optimized using the Be-Bound technology for an augmented connectivity regardless of strong internet bandwidth or not. Developed by the Cameroonian Barichnel D. Sonna.

2. Introduction
Barichnel Sonna is a self-taught web developer
since the age of 16 and currently in his final
year pursuing a Higher National Diploma
(HND) in software engineering at the Siantou
Higher Institute of Business andTechnological
Sciences (SHIBTS).

3. PROJECT Description
FarWork is a crowdsourcing
marketplace application, which allows
potential employers to post jobs
that freelancers can then bid to complete.

5. Why FarWork ?
• Many youths have (digital) talents but just lack visibility.
• Convenient payment using local mobile money facilities.
• Giving the possibility for students to have a part-time job while going to
school. Even those who don’t go to school at all.

6. HowThe App Works
• A user logs in and posts a job/task. Another user(freelancer) bids
to perform the task and mentions his price.
• The user(employer) compares bids and selects the best one that
suits his quality and budget. He then awards the project and the
freelancer goes to work.
• Chat in real-time.
• Pay safely using local mobile money payment systems integrated
to the application. Be-Bound takes care of the requests made to
the server.

easy for users to get notified about on-

• ShortTerm:
A commission is deducted from the money freelancers make through the platform.
• Middle-Term:
This is when the platform has enough popularity and some users want more
visibility due to their experience. Here comes in pro features
• Long-Term:
Optional in-app courses with digital certificates are awarded to users who want to
enhance their profile.
