Barichnel Sonna is a self-taught web developer
since the age of 16 and currently in his final
year pursuing a Higher National Diploma
(HND) in software engineering at the Siantou
Higher Institute of Business andTechnological
Sciences (SHIBTS).

FarWork is a crowdsourcing
marketplace application, which allows
potential employers to post jobs
that freelancers can then bid to complete.

5. Why FarWork ?
• Many youths have (digital) talents but just lack visibility.
• Convenient payment using local mobile money facilities.
• Giving the possibility for students to have a part-time job while going to
school. Even those who don’t go to school at all.
6. HowThe App Works
• A user logs in and posts a job/task. Another user(freelancer) bids
to perform the task and mentions his price.
• The user(employer) compares bids and selects the best one that
suits his quality and budget. He then awards the project and the
freelancer goes to work.
• Chat in real-time.
• Pay safely using local mobile money payment systems integrated
to the application. Be-Bound takes care of the requests made to
the server.

enhance their profile.
