He has a diploma in social and audiovisual communication from the University Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar and has taken courses at Yale University. Some of his documentary films focus on Senegalese culture and arts. He currently works as the founder and director of Kerdoff Productions, a film and art production company in Senegal.
