I had the responsibility of operating the machinery in line with machine directives and
process optimization. I was required to have an excellent working knowledge
of Oracle/Systems, and Bill of Material (BOM). I was responsible for the
efficient packaging of sterile and non-sterile end products. Also I corrected
minor technical faults on machinery, in order to keep up optimum speed for
reaching deadlines in production. I trained new operators on the use of GATE;
Basic microbiology principles and cleanroom discipline. In this position, my
knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint was essential, as I was
required to write reports and deliver company presentations.

My duties here included: Calibration checks of all lab equipment and keeping records
of same. I had responsibility for testing for contaminants. I assisted the Laboratory
supervisor with biochemical producers and maintained very high standard of
cleanliness, whilst autoclaving, dehydrogenating and writing up plates.
