1. Bruce Rideout is an experienced consultant on performance excellence. He was most
recently the Vice President, Business Performance Improvement (BPI) at Constellation
Energy, a Fortune 125 energy solutions provider headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.
Prior to the BPI role, Bruce was the program leader for Constellation Generation Group’s
Fleet Business Transformation & Infrastructure Program where he led process changes
and enterprise asset management (EAM) system integration across their generation fleet.
In both of these roles, Bruce worked to identify, shape, and drive business transformation
across a diverse business enterprise.
Prior to joining Constellation Energy, Bruce was Vice President, Operational Excellence
with Tyco Plastics and Adhesives, where he developed and deployed Six Sigma and Lean
manufacturing programs for the $2 billion business segment of Tyco. Additionally, Bruce
served in a variety of positions with GE Plastics and General Chemical including multi-
business Environmental Health, Safety and Security Leader and Plant General Manager,
as well as other maintenance, operational and quality positions. Bruce is a certified Six
Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt and Lean Leader.
In addition to his private industry experience, Bruce served as an officer in the U.S.
Marines. His military roles include: Commanding Officer, Logistics Officer, and
Firepower Control team leader. As a result, Bruce has traveled extensively throughout
Europe, the Pacific, and the Middle East.
Other notable roles include serving on the board of Directors, Hancock County Chamber
of Commerce, Commissioner for Green River Planning and Zoning, Credit Committee
member of WYO-Chem Credit Union, and Charter Member of Kiwanis Club of King’s
Bay.
Bruce earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering cum laude from the
University of Florida and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Valdosta State
University.
