ABSTRAK



Azmin (A1C308059) telah melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis
Kandungan Mineral Batuan Penyerta Di Kawasan Pertambangan Nikel Desa
Wulu Kecamatan Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton dengan Menggunakan Metode
X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)”. Rumusan masalah jenis-jenis mineral apakah yang
menyertai nikel di kawasan lokasi pertambangan Nikel di Desa Wulu Kecamatan
Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton? Dalam penelitian ini, sampel bongkahan nikel
yang diambil di daerah tersebut masing-masing diberi lebel yaitu sampel A, B dan
sampel C dengan kedalaman yang berbeda. Hasil analisis X-Ray Fluorescence
(XRF) menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga sampel tersebut memiliki kandungan
mineral yang sama yaitu sebagai berikut : sampel A mengandung Silikon Oksida
(SiO2) sebesar 40,01 %, Magnesium Oksida (MgO) sebesar 24,15 %, Feri
Trioksida (Fe2O3) sebesar 15,07 %, Besi (Fe) sebesar 10,55 %, Nikel (Ni) sebesar
2,02 %, Aluminium Oksida (AL2O3) sebesar 1,09 %. Serta mineral-mineral yang
lain seperti Co, Cr, Al, Ca, Mn, P, S, CaO, Cr2O3, dan MnO memiliki konsentrasi
yang sangat kecil yaitu dibawah 1 %, sampel B Silikon Oksida (SiO2) sebesar
42,88 %, Magnesium Oksida (MgO) sebesar 23,58 %, Feri Trioksida (Fe2O3)
sebesar 19,44 %, Besi (Fe) sebesar 13,61 %, Nikel (Ni) sebesar 1,95 %,
Aluminium Oksida (AL2O3) sebesar 1,04 %. Serta mineral-mineral yang lain
seperti Co, Cr, Al, Ca, Mn, P, S, CaO, Cr2O3, dan MnO masih memiliki
konsentrasi yang sangat kecil yaitu dibawah 1 %, dan sampel C mengandung
Silikon Oksida (SiO2) sebesar 45,11 %, Magnesium Oksida (MgO) sebesar 25,14
%, Feri Trioksida (Fe2O3) sebesar 19,61 %, Besi (Fe) sebesar 13,73 %, Nikel (Ni)
sebesar 1,38 %, Aluminium Oksida (AL2O3) sebesar 1,40 %. Serta mineral-
mineral yang lain masih tetap memiliki konsentrasi yang relaitf sama yakni
dibawah 1 %, seperti Co, Cr, Al, Ca, Mn, P, S, CaO, Cr2O3. Jadi, pada kawasan
pertambangan Nikel Desa Wulu Kecamatan Talaga Raya, mineral batuannya
didominasi oleh senyawa Silikon Dioksida (SiO2), magnesium Oksida (MgO),
Feri Trioksida (Fe2O3) dan Besi (Fe).

Abstrak

ABSTRAK Azmin (A1C308059) telah melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis Kandungan Mineral Batuan Penyerta Di Kawasan Pertambangan Nikel Desa Wulu Kecamatan Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton dengan Menggunakan Metode X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)”. Rumusan masalah jenis-jenis mineral apakah yang menyertai nikel di kawasan lokasi pertambangan Nikel di Desa Wulu Kecamatan Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton? Dalam penelitian ini, sampel bongkahan nikel yang diambil di daerah tersebut masing-masing diberi lebel yaitu sampel A, B dan sampel C dengan kedalaman yang berbeda. Hasil analisis X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga sampel tersebut memiliki kandungan mineral yang sama yaitu sebagai berikut : sampel A mengandung Silikon Oksida (SiO2) sebesar 40,01 %, Magnesium Oksida (MgO) sebesar 24,15 %, Feri Trioksida (Fe2O3) sebesar 15,07 %, Besi (Fe) sebesar 10,55 %, Nikel (Ni) sebesar 2,02 %, Aluminium Oksida (AL2O3) sebesar 1,09 %. Serta mineral-mineral yang lain seperti Co, Cr, Al, Ca, Mn, P, S, CaO, Cr2O3, dan MnO memiliki konsentrasi yang sangat kecil yaitu dibawah 1 %, sampel B Silikon Oksida (SiO2) sebesar 42,88 %, Magnesium Oksida (MgO) sebesar 23,58 %, Feri Trioksida (Fe2O3) sebesar 19,44 %, Besi (Fe) sebesar 13,61 %, Nikel (Ni) sebesar 1,95 %, Aluminium Oksida (AL2O3) sebesar 1,04 %.
