ANNUAL REPORT
DEDICATED TO SAVING AND
CHANGING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN
AND FAMILIES AROUND THE WORLD...
Thank you!
Acts 10:31 - 32
God has heard your prayer and remembered
your gifts to the poor.
and compassion are manifest in action. The love you have for God and
compassion for your local and global neighbors are translated into actions made
possible through your support. We thank you for your prayers, for sharing the Joseph
Assignment Global Initiative’s mission and achievements with your personal and
professional networks, and for your donations. Thank you for enabling JAGI to be the
vessel for your compassion to save and uplift the lives of those most in need of your
helping hand.
In the mere nine years since Joseph Assignment’s founding, you have served the needs
of over 321,000 individuals. You have provided healthcare, clean water, food security,
micro-business initiatives, and education/literacy opportunities for people and
communities throughout the world. Your generosity is the engine that drives The
Joseph Assignment’s remarkable success.
In fact you have provided a literal engine to drive JAGI to even greater, more efficient
and effective success. Your generosity gave us the resources to obtain well-drilling
equipment and trucks, enabling JAGI to allocate resources directly to well
construction. This will greatly increase our capacity and efficiency to provide clean
water wells, thus increasing JAGI’s humanitarian footprint in targeted service areas.
In his State of the Union address, President Barack Obama stated: In West Africa,
our troops, our scientists, our doctors, our nurses and healthcare workers rolled back
Ebola – saving countless lives and stopping the spread of disease. I couldn’t be prouder
of them… But the job is not yet done – and the world needs to use this lesson to build
a more effective global effort to prevent the spread of future pandemics, invest in
smart development and eradicate extreme poverty. We are the solution against
extreme poverty; part of a global mission. Your support enables the Joseph
Assignment to ship medical equipment and supplies throughout the year that provide
support for medical staff in the global effort to eradicate Ebola. The Joseph
Assignment will continue its commitment until the disease is contained or cured.
Together we are exceptional. We are strong…stronger than extreme poverty. Together
we can achieve the goal of eradicating extreme poverty and reshape the context of
lives everywhere. I truly believe that just because a person is born into poverty doesn’t
mean they are destined to a life of poverty.
Thanks to you, our partners, we have opened an office in Kingston, Jamaica! We are
committed to working with governmental, non-governmental and private sector
organizations that support Jamaica’s development goals for children and families.
I am honored and humbled to partner with you as we work together to save and serve
humanity. Please continue to give to the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative.
Together we are changing the world. And the best is yet to come!
A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
LOVE
DR. ALEXIS FELDER
Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Lead Volunteer
Just because people are
born into poverty does not
mean they are destined to a
life of poverty.
HISTORY & MISSION
To Promote Education, Health Care, Food Security, Clean Water,
Orphans & Vulnerable Children, Shelter, and Economic Development
Our mission is to impact the lives of the world’s poorest children and their families by addressing their
education, economic and physical needs; through collaborative initiatives by leveraging resources
necessary to stimulate systemic development.
Established in 2005, The Joseph Assignment
Global Initiative is a global humanitarian
organization 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation
and an international NGO committed to
responding to the basic needs of people living in
poverty around the world. We are committed to
responding to the needs of the world’s poorest
children and families by addressing their basic
human needs. Our vision is to meet basic human
needs in a manner that goes beyond what is
typically considered charity. The Joseph
Assignment provides effective tools for
sustainable development.
Green technology is at the fundamental core of
our community development blueprint. From a
planning perspective, we realize that we cannot
achieve sustainable eco-friendly development
without delivering solutions that meet the
residents’ commercial, agricultural, and
educational needs. We achieve our development
goals through extensive project planning,
community participation, and the
implementation of initiatives and programs that
shape the framework for a sustainable future that
transforms the lives of God’s people for
generations to come. 100% of all contributions are
used to directly impact the lives of people living
within these remote villages. None of the
resources are used for administrative overhead.
Secondly, we utilize the intellectual capital of
professionals and specialist in education,
medicine, and agriculture living within the
country and the USA to assist us in developing
our infrastructure plans and to implement our
developmental objectives. The key to our strategy
is maintaining the operational vision beyond the
model of maintaining subsistence to one of
sustainable development. Dr. Trunell D. Felder
and Dr. Alexis Felder, established the Joseph
Assignment Global Initiative with an
international vision to position the organization
to meet the holistic needs of people living in
extreme poverty all around the world.

1.2 Billion people still live in extreme poverty
— on less than $1.25 per day. Providing
water only is never enough when poverty
attaches itself to a myriad of personal, social,

Why we serve...
Core Areas of Service
We believe that compassion must be followed by action that
cultivates change and promotes holistic living. Through successful
partnerships, The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative has been
able to provide resources, expertise, and opportunities to enhance
the quality of life for people all over the world.

Education
134 million children between the
ages of 7 an 18 have never been to
school.
Girls are more likely to go without
schooling than boys.
Children are more likely to be
forced into child labor if they are
not attending school.
“Providing quality
education is the key to
keeping young women off
the streets and preventing
children from becoming
child laborers.”
“We work to raise the
awareness of the drastic
despair that orphans face
daily, educating individuals
and corporations to make a
collaborative impact.”
“As we improve living
conditions, we reduce the time
burden of women and
children, enabling them to
attend school. and minimizing
the spread of disease.”
Health Care
Measles, malaria, and diarrhea are
three of the biggest killers of
children.
More than 30 million children are
not immunized against treatable or
preventable diseases.
1 in 4 children who die before age 5
die of water-related diseases.
Diarrheal diseases kill five times as
many children in the developing
world as HIV/AIDS.
“Proper nutrition and
healthcare save lives and
significantly reduce the spread
of communicable and treatable
diseases.”
“No one should die from
drinking contaminated water
when clean water is only 100
feet below the surface”
Clean Water
Nearly 1.1 billion people do not have
safe water to drink.
A child dies every 15 seconds from
unclean water.
2.3 million children die before age 5
due to water-related diseases.
Children often walk miles every day
to collect dirty water to drink.
2.6 billion people lack adequate
sanitation services.
Orphans &
Vulnerable Children
A staggering 53,100,000 orphaned
children live in Sub-Sahara Africa.
In India, approximately 12,400,000
orphans and almost 40,000,000
vulnerable children are in need.
An estimated 6,000 children are
orphaned by AIDS every day.
Children account for half of all
civilian war casualties in Africa.
Shelter
More than 1 billion people are living
in unsafe and impoverished living
conditions.
In most housing structures, 5 to 12
people share one 10’ x 10’ room.
The structural quality is very poor
and dangerous in most thatch and
clay homes.
Poor housing means diseases
spread more rapidly.

With 2.8 million people, Jamaica is the third most
populous Anglophone country in the Americas, after
the United States and Canada, and the fourth most
populous country in the Caribbean. Deficits in
Housing, Clean Water/Sanitation, and access to basic
socioeconomic development are causal factors for
the country’s vulnerability and poverty levels.

I have provided you with some useful ways to support our lifesaving initiatives
while also providing tax savings at the end of the year for your personal use.
Please include The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative in your 2016 budget and
giving plan. We appreciate all that you have done to help us carry out our
mission. You are always welcome to visit our work in any of the countries we
serve, so you can see firsthand how your generosity is making a difference.
We are so grateful you have chosen to partner with us to change the
world—one child, family, and community at a time. Until all have heard.

Our approach is empowerment. We know that it is not enough
to just provide clean water and leave a village of people
without education and food. We ensure that the people living
in these remote villages have an opportunity to become
self-sustaining and productive citizens within their society.
When we leave a village it is our goal that every resident has
learned to read, write, farm, manage money and have access
to clean water. We develop self sustaining communities
throughout the world by investing in permanent social and
economic infrastructures. We want to give them the freedom
to live healthy and productive lives.

Helping Over 321,000 People in 2014

  • 2. DEDICATED TO SAVING AND CHANGING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AROUND THE WORLD... Thank you! Acts 10:31 - 32 God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. and compassion are manifest in action. The love you have for God and compassion for your local and global neighbors are translated into actions made possible through your support. We thank you for your prayers, for sharing the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative’s mission and achievements with your personal and professional networks, and for your donations. Thank you for enabling JAGI to be the vessel for your compassion to save and uplift the lives of those most in need of your helping hand. In the mere nine years since Joseph Assignment’s founding, you have served the needs of over 321,000 individuals. You have provided healthcare, clean water, food security, micro-business initiatives, and education/literacy opportunities for people and communities throughout the world. Your generosity is the engine that drives The Joseph Assignment’s remarkable success. In fact you have provided a literal engine to drive JAGI to even greater, more efficient and effective success. Your generosity gave us the resources to obtain well-drilling equipment and trucks, enabling JAGI to allocate resources directly to well construction. This will greatly increase our capacity and efficiency to provide clean water wells, thus increasing JAGI’s humanitarian footprint in targeted service areas. In his State of the Union address, President Barack Obama stated: In West Africa, our troops, our scientists, our doctors, our nurses and healthcare workers rolled back Ebola – saving countless lives and stopping the spread of disease. I couldn’t be prouder of them… But the job is not yet done – and the world needs to use this lesson to build a more effective global effort to prevent the spread of future pandemics, invest in smart development and eradicate extreme poverty. We are the solution against extreme poverty; part of a global mission. Your support enables the Joseph Assignment to ship medical equipment and supplies throughout the year that provide support for medical staff in the global effort to eradicate Ebola. The Joseph Assignment will continue its commitment until the disease is contained or cured. Together we are exceptional. We are strong…stronger than extreme poverty. Together we can achieve the goal of eradicating extreme poverty and reshape the context of lives everywhere. I truly believe that just because a person is born into poverty doesn’t mean they are destined to a life of poverty. Thanks to you, our partners, we have opened an office in Kingston, Jamaica! We are committed to working with governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations that support Jamaica’s development goals for children and families. I am honored and humbled to partner with you as we work together to save and serve humanity. Please continue to give to the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative. Together we are changing the world. And the best is yet to come! A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER LOVE DR. ALEXIS FELDER Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Lead Volunteer

HISTORY & MISSION To Promote Education, Health Care, Food Security, Clean Water, Orphans & Vulnerable Children, Shelter, and Economic Development Our mission is to impact the lives of the world’s poorest children and their families by addressing their education, economic and physical needs; through collaborative initiatives by leveraging resources necessary to stimulate systemic development. Established in 2005, The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative is a global humanitarian organization 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation and an international NGO committed to responding to the basic needs of people living in poverty around the world. We are committed to responding to the needs of the world’s poorest children and families by addressing their basic human needs. Our vision is to meet basic human needs in a manner that goes beyond what is typically considered charity. The Joseph Assignment provides effective tools for sustainable development. Green technology is at the fundamental core of our community development blueprint. From a planning perspective, we realize that we cannot achieve sustainable eco-friendly development without delivering solutions that meet the residents’ commercial, agricultural, and educational needs. We achieve our development goals through extensive project planning, community participation, and the implementation of initiatives and programs that shape the framework for a sustainable future that transforms the lives of God’s people for generations to come. 100% of all contributions are used to directly impact the lives of people living within these remote villages. None of the resources are used for administrative overhead. Secondly, we utilize the intellectual capital of professionals and specialist in education, medicine, and agriculture living within the country and the USA to assist us in developing our infrastructure plans and to implement our developmental objectives. The key to our strategy is maintaining the operational vision beyond the model of maintaining subsistence to one of sustainable development. Dr. Trunell D. Felder and Dr. Alexis Felder, established the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative with an international vision to position the organization to meet the holistic needs of people living in extreme poverty all around the world. • 6. Why we serve... Core Areas of Service We believe that compassion must be followed by action that cultivates change and promotes holistic living. Through successful partnerships, The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative has been able to provide resources, expertise, and opportunities to enhance the quality of life for people all over the world. Dr. Alexis Felder Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Lead Volunteer Education 134 million children between the ages of 7 an 18 have never been to school. Girls are more likely to go without schooling than boys. Children are more likely to be forced into child labor if they are not attending school. “Providing quality education is the key to keeping young women off the streets and preventing children from becoming child laborers.” “We work to raise the awareness of the drastic despair that orphans face daily, educating individuals and corporations to make a collaborative impact.” “As we improve living conditions, we reduce the time burden of women and children, enabling them to attend school. and minimizing the spread of disease.” Health Care Measles, malaria, and diarrhea are three of the biggest killers of children. More than 30 million children are not immunized against treatable or preventable diseases. 1 in 4 children who die before age 5 die of water-related diseases. Diarrheal diseases kill five times as many children in the developing world as HIV/AIDS. “Proper nutrition and healthcare save lives and significantly reduce the spread of communicable and treatable diseases.” “No one should die from drinking contaminated water when clean water is only 100 feet below the surface” Clean Water Nearly 1.1 billion people do not have safe water to drink. A child dies every 15 seconds from unclean water. 2.3 million children die before age 5 due to water-related diseases. Children often walk miles every day to collect dirty water to drink. 2.6 billion people lack adequate sanitation services. Orphans & Vulnerable Children A staggering 53,100,000 orphaned children live in Sub-Sahara Africa. In India, approximately 12,400,000 orphans and almost 40,000,000 vulnerable children are in need. An estimated 6,000 children are orphaned by AIDS every day. Children account for half of all civilian war casualties in Africa. Shelter More than 1 billion people are living in unsafe and impoverished living conditions. In most housing structures, 5 to 12 people share one 10’ x 10’ room. The structural quality is very poor and dangerous in most thatch and clay homes. Poor housing means diseases spread more rapidly. I hope I have provided you with some useful ways to support our lifesaving initiatives while also providing tax savings at the end of the year for your personal use. Please include The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative in your 2016 budget and giving plan. We appreciate all that you have done to help us carry out our mission. You are always welcome to visit our work in any of the countries we serve, so you can see firsthand how your generosity is making a difference. We are so grateful you have chosen to partner with us to change the world—one child, family, and community at a time. Until all have heard. Dr. Alexis Felder Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Lead Volunteer Our approach is empowerment. We know that it is not enough to just provide clean water and leave a village of people without education and food. We ensure that the people living in these remote villages have an opportunity to become self-sustaining and productive citizens within their society. When we leave a village it is our goal that every resident has learned to read, write, farm, manage money and have access to clean water. We develop self sustaining communities throughout the world by investing in permanent social and economic infrastructures. We want to give them the freedom to live healthy and productive lives.
