1. Senior Citizens
“Thank you so much for caring about
me.” Robert, client of St. Paul’s P.A.C.E.
In 2017, the Foundation donated
$40,000 to support our senior citizen
mission.
The Paige Foundation facilitated a $1.5
million dollar loan and a $10,000 grant to
TRU Community Care in Colorado to
establish a new P.A.C.E. program.
P.A.C.E. is a “Program of All Inclusive
Care to the Elderly.” The program serves
virtually all social, medical, emotional, and
psychological needs of the Medicare and
Medicaid qualified population, with
centrally managed care, allowing seniors
to remain living in their own homes longer.
The Foundation made a $30,000 capital
contribution to P.A.C.E. El Cajon in
California. St. Paul’s P.A.C.E. originally
founded in the 1950’s, serves low-income,
frail seniors. The new P.A.C.E. El Cajon
facility will open in 2018.

100% of new contributions are
allocated to directly support services
provided by local non-profit charities.

“The Paige Foundation scholarship
made me believe my dream of
education is possible.” Lindsay,
mother and full time college student.
The Paige Foundation supports three
main areas of philanthropy:
Education
Services for the Elderly
Animal Welfare
The support we provide changes lives!
The Herbert and Judy Paige Family
Foundation helps low-income students
gain access to a high-quality education,
provides food, love and shelter for animals
and offers low-income seniors excellent
healthcare, companionship, transportation
and nutritious meals.
2. Animal Welfare
“Chloe brightens my days and nights.”
Sylvia, San Diego Humane Society PAWS
client
In 2017, the Foundation donated
$15,000 to support our animal welfare
mission. In an effort to merge our senior
citizen and animal missions we made a
donation to the San Diego Humane
Society in support of their PAWS program.
PAWS was established to keep pets at
home with low-income seniors, and to
assist in-home delivery of essential
services to home-bound seniors. PAWS
bridges the gap between human services
and animal welfare by keeping pets in
loving homes with their owners. Herb and
Judy knew that animals enrich and
enhance our lives. They adopted pets
from the San Diego Humane Society. We
are proud to continue supporting animals
and seniors in need. The San Diego
Humane Society has dedicated a plaque
to memorialize the generous contributions
and efforts of Herbert and Judy Paige.
Education
Herb and Judy created the Paige Family
Foundation with the strong belief that,
“The basis of all human improvement
begins with education.” This ideal drives
our education mission today.
“I strive every day to make the Paige
Foundation proud at school, in the
hospital, and in my life.” Michela,
nursing scholarship recipient
In 2017, the Foundation funded over
$154,000 to more than 83 students to
further our commitment to education.
Thanks to diligent research and planning
we were able to double the number of
students impacted this year!
Our students are attending 2-year and 4-
year colleges in Colorado and California.
We are proud to say several of our
students have successfully transferred
from community college to 4-year schools.
We have students attending: Community
College of Denver, University of Colorado,
Metro State, Colorado School of Mines,
University of Northern Colorado, San
Diego State University and San Diego
Mesa College.
We support K-12 non-profits who
demonstrate they are impacting college
graduation rates for low-income children.
We have partnerships with Colorado
Uplift, Denver Scholarship Foundation,
Girls Inc., The Bridge Project and “I Have
a Dream” of Boulder, Los Angeles and
Colorado. These programs provide
children the opportunity to break the cycle
of poverty though social emotional
education, school support, summer
programs, mentoring and in some cases
tuition towards college.
“As a first generation student, my
parents push me—especially my dad—
and motivate me to have good grades.
Because of that I’ve always had the
mindset to go to college and graduate
with a good stable degree that can help
me get a career after college.” with the
help of the Paige Foundation and the
Denver Scholarship Foundation Yared will
be the first person in his family to attend
college.
