Enerchimi Engineering Consultancy – 1994 to 2006
Project Control – Part of the project control function responsible for providing a co-ordinated
capability of Project Planning and Project Control to establish and maintain the structure of a number
of key projects. Responsibilities included:
• Reviewing project proposals and deliverables with project managers to determine lead times,
staffing requirements and resource allocation to projects
• Using a number of packages suchas Primavera and MS Project to plan projects, produce integrated
critical path plan
• Analysing ongoing project progress and performance, assessing this against contractual and
internal targets
• Determining and reporting on variance, identifying emerging issues and trends, communicating
potential impact on the project to actively support the decision making process
• Capturing project performance data and turning it into relevant, high quality and accurate reports,

Platform - Complex Water Re-injection Project; Pazanan Storage Project - Planning Pazanan Storage
and South Gas Fields.
Contracts – part of the project contracts department. Responsibilities included:
• Project cost control
• Finalizing project progress and payment reports in accordance to sub-contractors reports from the
project site
• Contracts included Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) and Unit Price, with the latter proving challenging
due to the national standards for oil/gas projects of tracking cost for each unit of work in this field
(e.g. digging, welding)
• Operating in a partnering and collaborative environment, maintaining good working relationship
with contractors and engineers to be able to implement and embed the company’s project cost
control standards
Projects included: Kangan Natural Gas Project (Phase I) consisting of gas production facilities in Nar
Gas Field; Gas transfer line and central gas processing facilities (including dehydration and sweetening
units and utilities) with a capacity of 1200 MM SCFD.
