1. Letter of Recommendation

This letter is a recommendation for Asif Iqbal who performed as a Senior Scheduler on
the Marafiq Yanbu 1 Project. The Yanbu 1 Project, being constructed for the Saudi
Arabia Utility Marafiq, is a Mega Infrastructure Project with a total installed cost in
excess of US $ 1.2 Billion. It consists of six (6) projects, a Program Management team of
85 direct hire employees and a multi-national construction work force that peaked at over
7,500 workers.
Asif Iqbal performed in multiple roles on the project; 1) Core Team Scheduler and 2)
Project Scheduler for two major projects: Industrial Water Treatment Plant and the
Sewage Water Treatment Plant.
It has been my distinct pleasure to have had Iqbal as a key member of my team. Iqbal
always performed his duties with the utmost professionalism and was well liked by all the
team members. He is a very experienced scheduler and was able to not only review and
analyze EPC contractor schedules but was able to quickly and easily prepare graphs,
charts and tables that explained complex issues in a straightforward and simple manner.
He works well with the Client’s team, the EPC contractor’s team and his co-workers.
I do not hesitate to recommend Iqbal for any assignment within the realm of scheduling
and planning. He is a proven member of my project’s management team and the key
scheduler on the project.
I wish Iqbal all the success and good luck in the future. I know that whoever he works for
will be getting a highly qualified scheduler and a very good man whom you can depend
upon to perform to the utmost of his abilities.
