 1- Countries like Brazil, India, China that is not been explored by Toyota
can be a profitable advantage for the organization to make large
investments thereby leading to an increase in the Knowledge Resources
available.
 2- Due to rise in fuel prices will benefit Toyota to produce cars that are
more fuel efficient. Since it is in the culture of Toyota to create more fuel
friendly cars, this factor (rise in fuel prices) can be used as an
opportunity.
 3. Growing Concern for Environmental Pollution– People, around the
world,are getting more concerned about the environmental degradation
and are also willing to do their bit. This is the high time to popularize
Toyota’s environment friendliness. Toyota’s TQM, JIT practices can be
used as an opportunity to gain more customers. Higher quality cars in
terms of environment friendliness, customer friendliness and various
other factors can be explored.
 4. Green Vehicle Technology– Maybe slower, but the green vehicle
technology is gaining popularity around the world. If Toyota focuses on
this area, they will get much revenue from this innovation.
 Interrogative Questions & Assessments: Toyota’s exclusion of
interrogative questions & assessments in its Knowledge management
strategy delays the increase of knowledge resources.
 Culture and Learning : Toyota KM strategies doesn’t help in creating a
link between the people and culture with the company, also the lack of
learning networks between employees also create hindrance in
exchanging of knowledge which leads to an un-effective KM strategy
implementation.
 Effective Evaluation System : Toyota lacks a effective evaluation system
for evaluating its efforts and business practices because of which the
knowledge practices and strategies doesn’t get updated on time.
 Adoption of Creativity : Toyota’s lacking of inclusion of creativity in KM
strategies forces them to stay on old technologies without any
innovation which is harmful for company to maintain its position in the
market in the long run.

Since it is in the culture of Toyota to create more fuel friendly cars, this factor (rise in fuel prices) can be used as an opportunity.  3. Growing Concern for Environmental Pollution– People, around the world,are getting more concerned about the environmental degradation and are also willing to do their bit. This is the high time to popularize Toyota’s environment friendliness. Toyota’s TQM, JIT practices can be used as an opportunity to gain more customers. Higher quality cars in terms of environment friendliness, customer friendliness and various other factors can be explored.  4. Green Vehicle Technology– Maybe slower, but the green vehicle technology is gaining popularity around the world. If Toyota focuses on this area, they will get much revenue from this innovation.
  • 3.  Interrogative Questions & Assessments: Toyota’s exclusion of interrogative questions & assessments in its Knowledge management strategy delays the increase of knowledge resources.  Culture and Learning : Toyota KM strategies doesn’t help in creating a link between the people and culture with the company, also the lack of learning networks between employees also create hindrance in exchanging of knowledge which leads to an un-effective KM strategy implementation.  Effective Evaluation System : Toyota lacks a effective evaluation system for evaluating its efforts and business practices because of which the knowledge practices and strategies doesn’t get updated on time.  Adoption of Creativity : Toyota’s lacking of inclusion of creativity in KM strategies forces them to stay on old technologies without any innovation which is harmful for company to maintain its position in the market in the long run.
