The Wrigley Lecture Series is funded by Julie Ann Wrigley and will feature a lecture by Jeffrey Sachs on April 22nd, 2015 at Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Jeffrey Sachs is a renowned economics professor and author who advises the UN on sustainability topics and will discuss how attaining sustainability should be our highest priority and the best ways to reach that goal.

Jeffrey D. Sachs is a world-renowned economics professor, leader in sustainable
development, best-selling author and syndicated columnist. He is special adviser
to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the Millennium Development Goals,
director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, as well as
cofounder and director of the Millennium Villages Project.
Over the past ten years, he has authored The End of Poverty; Common Wealth:
Economics for a Crowded Planet; The Price of Civilization; To Move the World:
JFK’s Quest for Peace and, most recently, The Age of Sustainable Development,
described by E.O. Wilson as the “most important book in current circulation.”
In this talk, Sachs will argue that attaining sustainability is our highest priority
and will outline the best ways to reach that mighty goal.
