general ledger accounts and ensuring all revenues and expenses are
captured accurately. Prepare Rental and Retail individual and consolidated
P&L’s for internal distribution. Prepare and remit variance explanations to
AMS for BOD review. Prepare analysis for department heads to gauge cost
control from the perspective of room nights for operating expenses and
revenues for COS analysis relating to retail outlets. Forecasting for capital
and reserve expenditures, subsidized resorts and retail outlets (including
Starbucks franchise). Responsible for effective communication of potential
issues of meeting budget/ forecast to Senior Management. Handle
contributions and reporting to the Culinary Union for regional resorts.
Annual preparation of HOA and Retail budgets. Phases include planning
with department heads, review with Senior Management, Resort Directors
and Area GM, system preparation, ensuring data integrity and consistency,
through the use of financial reporting tools such as Hyperion Planning and
Business Objects, presentation to the Board of Directors and submission of
approved budget for owner billing.
