2. Information and
communications
technology (ICT) refers
to all the technology
used to handle
telecommunications,
broadcast media,
intelligent building
management systems,
audiovisual processing
and transmission
systems, and network-based
control and
monitoring functions.
3. Communication technology in
particular has drastically changed the
way society operates.
People are becoming more and more
reliant on the benefits they provide.
Communication technology has
become significantly important in the
realms of education, business, politics,
interpersonal interactions and crisis
responses.

6. Keychain projector
eliminates the need
to lug around heavy
equipment
Eliminates pay to
have projection
equipment delivered
to a presentation
site.
7. This communication technology will be
widespread use in the world of 2024 A.D because
of education and business needs. You will no
longer need to travel with large equipment in order
to get your presentation across.
As far as education, not only can teachers use this
but also the students who have projects and
assignments.
As a family perspective, the keychain projector is
able to project movies or vacation videos. This
provides convenience and promotes internal
connections
8. Says that people spend a constant
fraction of their disposable income on
mass media over time.
New technology has to be compelling
enough for the adopter to give up
something else.
Consumers are giving up larger
projectors and additional equipment
needed and are now buying the
keychain projectors.
9.
10. Google Glass is a
type of wearable
technology with an
optical head-mounted
display.
It was developed by
Google with the
mission of producing
a mass-market
ubiquitous computer
Google Glass
displays information
in a smartphone-like
hands-free format.
Wearers
communicate with
the Internet via
natural language
voice commands.
11. The headset has a small prism-like screen tucked into the
upper corner of the frame that keeps you constantly plugged
in to your e-mail, calls and other notifications so you don't
have to miss a beat.
This is a huge invention for 2024 A.D because cell phones will
not be needed any longer. You can talk on the glass, send
emails, text messages, and actively communicate.
This could potentially replace the tablets that are popular
right now, because of the easy access to news, books, and
other Internet services we use today.
12. Tries to explain how an innovation is communicated over
time through different channels to members of a social
system.
In the case of communication technologies, the innovation is
perceived as new
The advantages of Google Glass stated previously is
described in the characteristics of innovations including
compatibility, complexity, and trial ability.
Another stage discussed is “reinvention” the process by which
a person uses the technology for other purposes than those
intended by the original inventor. Google Glass can be used
as alarm clock, calendar, period tracker, and other
applications that were not originally intended for use.

14. Future homes will be located in all
locations on Earth plus beyond the planet’s
atmosphere as well.
Future Home Security Using Facial
Recognition Software
Future Home Theatre
Domestic Robot
Future Solar Home on Water
Modern Earth Sheltered Home
15. Home of the future in 2024 is simply our
future. With growing technology and needs,
everyone will have a house with robots, and
essentially a household in which we
become more dependent on.
The future seems to come with us using
technology and not having to left a finger.
The house can configure itself based on our
heartbeat, body temperature, and overall
personal preference.
16. Descriptive approach that gives insight into what
people do with technology.
See the users as actively seeking to use different
media to fulfill different needs.
Surveys audiences on why they choose to use
different types of media.
Consumers will buy this house for personal and
professional use, excitement, and other needs.
Parents can focus on the house to help with the
cooking, and homework for the children. This could
be use as a mechanism of entertainment with the 3D
theater. Or for business purposes such as screens,
projectors, and once again the help of the domestic
robots.
